What did you do at work today?

I didn't work today because I only work pt on Thursdays through Sundays.

But I did have a productive day. Ate a healthy breakfast, drove out to my boss's house in Vienna to discuss some things and pick up some supplies, came home, grilled some chicken for my lunch and dinner until next week, ate lunch, read some of this book I'm reading ("Working Fire: The Making of a Fireman" by Zac Unger), took Everything Must Go back to my local Redbox, cashed my check, hit the gym, and now I'm back home again about to eat dinner and watch the Caps beat the Stars before relaxing and watching SOA and new episodes of Tosh and Workaholics. Then get up tomorrow and repeat the process before I go to work on Thursday.

Analyzed some financials. Told my team to financially analyze some finances. Explained to my boss how we went about developing the analysis of our financial situation. And so on.

Then I ate crow on my defense of Albert Haynesworth stance in the Haynesworth thread. Tasted funny, but feels better.

My sister feels your pain, although I can't factually claim she does the same thing at Banfield.

Banfield is so much better. And they pay more. I've wanted to apply for jobs there so bad but apparently you have to be unemployed from Petsmart for 6 months before you can apply there.

I wrote several homowners in the morning.
Worked on a few customers policies.
Lost a long time customer which sucked due to rates.
Set up a meeting in Richmond.
Delivered a proposal to do to a short term disability policy for a 50 person company.
Our club had a board meeting last night at 6:30 and sense I'm now the pres I had to run the meeting.
Decided to scratch our chilifest and now we are going to do a Beer, Band & BBQ festival.

6 months isn't that long. Just bide your time and focus on the task at hand and before you know it, you'll be able to apply there too to get out of that kennel.
