Yep. Same story different person this time around. Although you gotta admit his opportunities to get a job will be better because of his past stardom. I'm sure he could try to get into broadcasting if he so chose.

It seems like everyone in the business of white-collar theft knows the best marks are young black milliners. On a personal level I don't feel sorry for T.O. and from a human tragedy level it's kinda sad that these millionaires aren't financially educated by their agents and the NFL. The first rule of staying wealthy is to park 50% of your earnings in a safe secure investments (T Bills). I wish you could mandate saving.

I feel sorry for him, but at the same time he's to blame for most of his problems, and has never ever had any inkling of accountability for his actions. I feel sorry for him if for no other reason than he was always a big kid that never matured, and maybe he was just too dumb to do so.

And as comedian, Ron White has said often:

hmmm .. TO broke = LOL for me today .. ex-cowboy ex-eagle current D-Bag .. that's my quarterback still makes me laugh .. what a tool .. thank god he is the only NFL star like this .. oh wait I think Mark Brunell is going to be a pharmacist now .. Isn't it funny how some NFL guys can turn it into a life long run (ex. Marcus Wiley, Teddy Bruschi, Rodney Harrison) just a few that come to mind .. i know they had solid careers and I'm drawing a blank on non-patriots but there a lot of ex-players who turn it into radio/TV deals .. like B-Mitch .. then again I flipped condos at age 26 and blew through 30 grand like a moron so wait maybe I'm an idiot just like TO ... eh boy this post has derailed, hitting erase ---- now

How can they say he didn't spend lavishly if he blew through that much dough? Even with almost 50k a month in child support?

Of course he blew most of it away buy buying luxury products AND/OR failed investments. But I was just pointing out that if he were really dumb to not know about contraception, every chick he banged would be with a kid from him, not just these four.

That Rosenhaus is a real scumbag. According to the article many of the bad investments TO made were with financial advisors/investors recommended to him by Rosenhaus. Same thing apparently happened with DeSean Jackson.

At the same time these guys have no brains. How do you blow through that much money? It just amazes me how stupid they are. NBA guys are the worst apparently. I think it was Sports Illustrated that published that study a few years ago that like 60% of retired players are go bankrupt within 5 years of calling it quits. Pathetic.

Her, last month: "It's ok, I'm on the pill."

Her, this month: "I never said I was on the pill!"

I just don't get this let other people invest you money shit... I only would trust someone who has made more money than me... otherwise it is better to make NOTHING extra.. just keep the money owed to you... not like you HAVE to add to 80m..

Not quite. Guys who are wealthier than you could have no clue how to invest because they make all the money through higher wages and have no experience in how to invest. Things like buying the right amount of T-Bills, Treasury Notes, stocks, mutual funds are not well known among most people, even some wealthy folks. The concept of return on investment is not intuitive to everyone. If you want someone else to do in, you need guys who "know the machinations" of the sector they're investing in.

In some ways, investing is like building a fantasy football team, except money is being spent instead of draft picks and your return is more money instead of points.

I'd trust our fellow Warpather Schneed over some folks wealthier than he is.
