Orton's really not any better than Grossman. Plus he doesn't know our offense. No thanks.

His numbers prove otherwise, but ok

OK. He's a very small upgrade.

They both SUCK!!! Just ask the Chicago Bears who couldn't decide which one sucked less. I want a real QB in town not a pretend filler.

I hope that Kyle Orton has no effect on us getting a good QB high in the draft..

This is old news. We already talked about it this morning. The real story...Plaxico telling LaVar that he thinks Drew Brees will be a Redskin!

Oh that Plax and his shoot from the hip comments

I think Plax just wants to be quarterback of the Saints.

We all know Plax is a straight shooter. He never likes to tease, and his comments are fully loaded. If he says it it must be true.

Hmmmm......I think he's had a few already. I better text my man Plax back and tell him I can't make it for drinks tonight.....

Re: Mike Lombardi Links Kyle Orton to the Redskins

I remember watching the Denver/SD game early in the season. I thought Orton played well, but his receivers and the defense were playing like crap. Personally, I don't think getting Orton will prevent us for going after Luck or RG3.

I don't know about this Orton thing. The Post BOG sounded more comedic than serious. Neverhteless, I have two or three posts that say repeatedly the Redskins need two QBs. We need a FA and we need to draft a QB. I'm no insider like some of you guys, but I really believe that is what will happen (a FA signing and drafting a rookie QB). Several of you have posted comments similar to mine, and the media information seems to suggest that something like that will happen.

Having said that, the combinations of FA and draftee QBs are too numerous to rehash here. But if Redskins decide to sign Orton and play him six-eight games while the rookie learns, I'm totally OK with that. This speculation is fun and causes me to read the paperrs more, but I am really ready for some stone-cold hard facts to emerge!

Re: Mike Lombardi Links Kyle Orton to the Redskins

Orton is better than Grossman? That would be like junking my current hooptie to buy another piece of shit car off craigslist for $800. What's the use?

Re: Mike Lombardi Links Kyle Orton to the Redskins

GTripp alluded to this earlier, but if we had true interest, wouldn't we claimed Orton off waivers?
