As for Mr. Springs, even though he was one of my favorite NFL players even prior to joining the Redskins I'm reluctant to change my name to that of another current Redskin

I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. until then let's just hope Fred stays....for my sake

Re: '05 Free Agent Spreadsheet

Fantastic resource.
It shows me how system really matters in determining how players are thought of in terms of talent. The grading on these guys seems to completely ignore anything other pure physical talent regardless of stats and system which I think is a great thing. A good example is Ed Hartwell in Baltimore I would have thought he'd get a bigger grade but based pruley on talent he is not a true elite type player. they just have a great system with other solid players around him. Smoot basically falls in the same boat. I would have thought his grade would have been marginally higher but it shows he isn't the pure talent that he thinks he is. I would quibble a lot of some things but honestly they know more than me.

Re: '05 Free Agent Spreadsheet

There's quite a few decent FA CBs available. Quick! Someone send Smoot this list. Who wouldn't want to play in Williams system. And be paid as a top 10-15 corner?

Re: '05 Free Agent Spreadsheet

I think some of these rankings and profiles are a little old
