Re: Time to trade Ramsey
We overpay for players, we're idiots. We take a stand and dont overpay for players, we're idiots. We tip our hand in the draft we're idiots, and if we don't we're liars. Hell we should rename the team to the Washington Evilestsandstupidestsonsovbitchesintheleaguewhowil lneverchange.

As for him lying..."We're gonna get the weapons to help Patrick out." ...You pass up Mike Williams to get him the weapons in the 4th Round. I don't care who you all say is still out there...plenty of good ones are off the board. And they aren't plenty of good ones left. |

Re: Time to trade Ramsey
If I was P. Ramsey I would demand/hold out for a trade. Why stick around? Last year Gibbs gave a mega deal to Brunnell (AARP member) and this year he gives up 3 picks for Campbell (unproven rook). It doesn't show a lot of trust. Gibbs said in his radio interview that they were looking for the future and that Campbell doesn't in anyway change Patrick's standing. Future? Ramsey can't be but 3 years older than Campbell. And do you really draft someone like this in the first round to be on the bench all these years? If a player is really worth next years 1 & 4 and this years 3 do you really want him on bench. That is three players in high rounds that could make immediate impacts for one player who according to Gibbes will be sitting for the next few years. I have faith in Gibbs but you really got to wonder what is going on.
Everyone needs to remember Ramsey hasn't even started 2 full seasons yet, 23 games. And in that time he went from one end of the spectrum to the other in offenses. Shouldn't we give him some time. For some reason I can see it turning out the same way as when Atlanta traded away a southern QB who wasn't given a full chance. That guy went on to lead GB to a Super Bowl and is a first ballot HOF. I am not saying Ramsey is Favre but he has a great arm and a desire and hasn't been given an opportunity. |
