Add this to my list of positives. I dont remember if it was the second or third one but he did not look happy after one of them. Maybe not his call. Anyway when we were driving down the field at the end I was pretty happy about them having no timeouts. Maybe that is because I was strangely confident that KC was going to get it done.

Coaches in the NFL still fail to understand the value of timeouts. They are coupons for 40 seconds of game time. Why they constantly call them when they shouldn't is baffling. In many cases I think it is worth taking the 5-yarder instead of wasting them. Dum-dums.

Yup. Shanny was constantly out of timeouts early. This is one thing that Gruden seems to have improved. He seems to always have them in his back pocket.

Our defense is broken. They gave up 500 yards to an offense w/ a rookie QB??? SMH...
The game was over. He was down with 2 seconds to go. The whole point of the defense at that point was to tackle whoever in bounds and watch the clock go quad zeroes.

But yes our defense has issues. I am starting to really question our LB play. Gap responsibility seems to be lost on a few of the starters. I think it is interesting when a guy like Compton, a lesser athlete, comes in and the D plays better. Makes me wonder if maybe he just plays his responsibility better. Have to watch the all-22 to see but I know Riley has been awful this year.

As always I revisit the schedule on Monday morning to see what our competition looks like going forward. If we can steal one victory - ie the pats, panthers, dallas with romo and dez most likely- we have a shot at 9 or 10 wins imo.

Would love to see Jeffcoat get on the field more. I swear he's around the ball every time he's in.

So as I pour my third cup of kool aid this beautiful Monday morning it also occurs to me that of the four nfc east teams, we arguably have the most favorable schedule going forward. Dallas has a brutal schedule remaining. Giants have a tough one also. The Eagles is not as bad, but appears to be tougher than ours. We are one game out and 1-1 in the division. We need to get healthier and these two weeks will hopefully do just that. We also need to re-establish our run game. Third thing would be we need pot roast n the boys to really step up their game n do some damage. They have to dominate the way they are capable of and lead this D to some big games. kC has got to eliminate the int's - it is clear that when he is on we win. Also when we get DJAX back our passing game might just be ....dare I say....pretty damn good?

He's such a bad coach. Remember when Goat was screaming about how we should bring in Lovie?.... He won't be in TB long.

The way Tampa Bay moved the ball on the last drive if they had all 3 timeouts it would have been scary. I still panicked with 24 seconds left and no timeouts. I just hope the bye is long enough to get Breeland, D-Hall, and Culliver back. If not Brady is going to throw for 500 yards.

The defense also needs to take a remedial class on how to tackle. Tampa Bay ball carriers were getting a lot of yardage after initial contact mostly because the Redskins were using poor technique, not because ball carriers were blowing them up. they aren't winning 9-10 games tackling like they were yesterday.

Yup. Goldson and Riley missed multiple tackles. I think this is the last year of Perry Riley. I think we should extend Robinson and replace Riley
