I'm just waiting for the confirmation. We've seen the reports but no confirmation of sorts has been made yet. Once that happens I'll be happy.

Jeff Fisher is a giant tool! It's awesome to watch him being a bully to a player, when he can get away with it.

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition

This is why I never side with the owners on anything financial related. The nerve of the Chargers and owners. They bitched about paying rookies all this huge sums of money, and now they are bitching about a few million.

NFL - Don't blame Joey Bosa for this San Diego Chargers mess, holdout, contract dispute

Fuck them. After that Telesco "compromise" statement. Bosa should just tweet out that Telesco can go fuck himself and he's not signing any deal with the Chargers at this point unless now BOTH demands are met. I'd go as far as to give them a deadline to meet these demands OR I'd sit out the entire year and re-enter the draft. A team wasting a #3 overall pick because they are greedy fucks?

I am growing more and more tired of certain NFL owners and the NFL league office leadership. The NFL can do no wrong and never catch shit for the crap they pull. From strong arming cities/tax payers to pay for billion dollar stadiums to strong arming players and their union.
What amazes me the most is there is no repercussion to the NFL backing out of the promised $30 million dollar donation to the NIH to fund concussion/CTE research in 2012. In 2012 the NFL made a huge press conference and announced player safety and research was #1 priority and they were donating $30 million to NIH as an unrestricted gift with no strings attached for research and helping to create a test for CTE in living patients, which currently does not exist.
Well naturally the NIH hired the top CTE experts in the world including the Boston University team that discovered CTE.
NFL tried to pressure NIH to remove the Boston University team so the donation was pulled. The funding had to come from US tax payers, so we had to pay the bill. Stay classy NFL.
Since us fans are so hard up for NFL football nobody cares and the NFL has no price to pay for pulling this shit. They could practically commit murder and nobody would really care as long as we get our NFL football in the fall.

Original article about funding being pulled:

NFL pulls out of funding Boston University head trauma study over concerns about researcher

2nd article about the Congressional report that came out saying NFL was being morons for trying to influence a scientific study on CTE.

Congressional report finds NFL improperly intervened in brain research, cost taxpayers $16 million

RG III went 4-8 for 69 yards (49 of those on the first play of the game) 1 fumble (though it was recovered by the Browns) and a pick at the goalline. Looks like he's in mid season form already

That hit that cause it was pretty brutal. It was a corner blitz and he saw the guy coming. He opened himself up with his super-long, wind-up delivery trying to get rid of the ball...not a real smart play.

I said it before and I'll say it again...I have no clue how this guy was drafted #2. He played no one in college.

NFLPA: Lane Johnson made “factually inaccurate” statement on tainted supplement | ProFootballTalk

Looks like the trump campaign is running the lane Johnson clown show.

Yeah I taped it so I could see what he looked like and it wasnt pretty. He played 2 series. The stuff he completed was easy stuff that he would do with the skins. The fumble was his fault and the interception was a bad pass, and on 1 play I thought he should have been called for grounding.Plus just about everytime he dropped back he took hard hits, but they werent from holding onto the ball too long.He keeps taking hits like that he's not going to last long.I dont think it will be that long anyway before Mccown takes over.
Plus he had this big bun of hair hanging out the back of his helmet,I havent seen him with his helmet off in a long time so I'm interested to see what this hairstyle is he's sporting now.
I wish him no ill will,I hope he plays well for the Browns but I just dont see it.I'm so glad the distraction is gone.Even if there was no drama surrounding him i would much rather have Mccoy as the backup then Griff.

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition

Just watched it. I feel sorry for him.

He is going to get killed this year. Was on the ground at least 5 or 6 plays in 2 drives that didn't have many plays.
