All 3 of those guys are not even close to Kirk, case is having a one year wonder season like we've seen many times in the NFL. That team is loaded he isn't asked to do much. In DC he would be colt McCoy.

Not to be the Grinch but I do agree with u, it's nice to see the team win but it does make it a little less fun when u are playing teams like Denver and NY

The Vikings have an interesting situation. Bradford is the guy who has the most ability but can't stay healthy. He'll probably be the odd man out and will end up w/ the Jets or Browns. Keenum would probably be having a bad year if he was playing for the Redskins...lol. He's having a nice year but I get the feeling it's a matter of time before Bridgewater takes over again, but that won't be until next year.

Seriously

Given all the injuries I’ll take 8-8

Re: Skins beat down of the Broncos

I want my Skins to win every time they play.

And I love to see my team put up 386 yards and 27 points against the number one yards D in the league (second after this week) !

I also love to see this defense allow only 11 points! Yes it's Osweiler and and average offense but every body was on fire!

This is the Kerrigan I want to see every week! He played against a bad OL but he seemed really pumped.

Zach Vigil (definitely like this guy!) and Spaight also had a great game. If we can get both Zach Brown and Foster back next year, we're set at ILB !

I disagree with those saying it doesn't matter: going 8-8 instead of 6-10 might be the difference between Gruden keeping his job or not. And Cousins staying here.

Getting the players pumped for a meaningless game is a good sign about a HC, isn't it?

It can change how everybody (us, players, coaches, FO) feels about this team, and have affect the Skins' future.

I echo you positive thinkers. If they come out and play hard in the last three it is a really good indicator of the character of the players.

We are getting closer to a real team culture compared to the Jay Cutler attitudes from years past.

I'm with you guys. I'll take it.

I'd say only real negative is Doctson has to be able to catch the tough balls, he's still a disappointment so far. Hope he can turn it around next season!

But mainly we need to prep ourselves for the Gruden-Cousins hoedown in the offseason. I'm lining up behind them both for the sake of continuity and positive vs negative action.

Kirk still confounds me -- that pick in the end zone from inside the 10 was horrendous. But the TD throw to Davis moving to his left under pressure was a thing of beauty. His game and Gruden's coaching can continue to improve. Keep doing things that don't require Snyder's involvement.
That's the problem with Kirk, that's who he is and if he hasnt corrected those mistake by now then chances are he never is.If we resign him were just going to have to accept that this is what were gonna get with him,it's just gonna be so fucking hard to accept it when he might be the highest paid player in the game.
In the playoffs with GB,everyone was on Kirk's jockstrap,2 teams going in different directions they said,Skins going up,GB down.Well Rodgers showed them what a great qb is.Kirk had good first half but wilted in the 2nd half.
And we know what happened against the giants last yr in the last game.
Yes I want us to resign Kirk,but I don't think he's ever going to get any better then he is now{which is pretty good but he's still going to make those boneheaded plays}
Like I said,we will just have to accept that's what he does even when he's the league's highest paid QB.

He forced a throw trying to make a play in the red zone, what QB doesn’t on occasion?? I don’t see it as a big deal or some grand indictment against paying him.

I swear some of us would have wanted Brady gone after the first half of this year's SB if he was playing for the Skins

Re: Skins beat down of the Broncos

This team has some issues and a meaningless win against a checked out opponent is not going to help us. Kirk has to stop playing games and commit, so we can focus on building for the future.

He's a top 12 QB for the next 5 years. I'll take that. I agree it cost a lot but I don't want to let him go for nothing. Two first round picks? Maybe but not just let him walk.

Re: Skins beat down of the Broncos

Folks if you’re waiting for Cousins to turn into Aaron Rodgers you’re going to be disappointed. He isn’t a top 3 QB, but definitely top 10-12. Being the top paid player doesn’t mean you’re necessarily the best player. It’s not how this works.

Mark Rypien wasn’t even as good as Cousins and he won.
