Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Give his agent permission to seek a trade with another team. If there is value there we should trade him, if not, he plays for us or sits.

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
I wouldn't rush to judgement concerning the man's character. Just because he blew up about his contract doesn't mean he's bad for the culture. Let him calm down and then see what happens.
Also, as a practical matter, if RR were to make an example out of someone and summarily fire him I sincerely doubt that it would be his best cornerback. Maybe someone who is on the taxi squad. As for what Gibbs said about trading players who didn't want to be there. What would Gibbs have said if Russ Grimm had raised his hand? I'll tell you. He would have said "Put your hand down Grimm. You're not going anywhere". That is probably what RR will tell Dunbar. |

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Would be a tough loss, he is our CB1 and has been one of the best man guys over the last 2 years

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Gibbs nearly traded Riggo and Williams so I wouldn’t say he was above moving anyone who wanted out.
I’d have concerns with paying Dunbar given his injury history. I’m guessing he’s getting the same vibe from the team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
He has leverage because he knows we need him, so we'll see what happens. I'd love Okudah but man I really want Chase

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
He’s above average but not great, Kyle Smith will find someone in the draft. Dunbar is always hurt, if he doesn’t want to be here, get rid of him.

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
I'm going to stop having favorite players. McLaurin is going to be my last favorite player.

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Trade Dunbar and sign Bradberry. And draft a minimum of 1 CB and most likely 2.

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Bradberry isn't as good as QD and he's certainly not a #1 Corner so we would still need to replace Dunny

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
Yeah i dont think you can commit a Norman size deal for a guy who shows talent but can’t keep on the field. I would not be opposed to a modest per year deal, but committing 10+ million per year is a tough sell.

Re: Dunbar demanding trade or release
If RR sits with Dunbar and they figure out a way for him to stay that makes them both happy I'm fine with it...
But hell for now it sure makes Dunbar looks stupid: because they don't know each other and he wants a new contract... he wants to be traded to a new team that he doesn't know either, before knowing for sure if the new regime here is ready to extend him or not...
