It occurred to me that while the schedule was worked out before we knew there would be no/minimal fans in stadia, were the TNF games allocated on the basis that they would be between teams that the wider audience were unlikely to watch otherwise? With the loss of ticket revenue, was this done just to boost advertising etc.?

It could have been but it wasn’t and you dont pull out the bullshit flags ever let alone at that point of a game. Buffalo is very good and they are not easy to stop. Rams got screwed.
