Agreed. As I have said, the “experts” were dazzled by Ohio State’s team play in his senior year, but Haskins has only one season of college experience. Seven games last year and his 4 games this season. Under 30 games experience since high school!! What?? How do you rate a guy, with so little experience, into the first round draft? Haskins should have been ranked in the second and third round and as a project QB. He’s just too green. But I don’t think Allen is the answer, otherwise someone would have picked him up for the first string. Our offense, WR, TE and OL are a year from being ready for ANY QB! Re: Ravens Postgame
Start using AGG more, Cam Sims made a couple of catches, bench Darby, start Moreland.

Re: Ravens Postgame
And a 22 yd run. They should use him, like they did Harmon last year.

Re: Ravens Postgame
Ron Rivera said bluntly that he wanted to see what Dwayne Haskins would do if they went for it on 4th and goal. He said Haskins needs to learn and understand the situation. He needed to look into the endzone or put it close to where a player could make a player at the goal line.

I'm probably one of the few remaining Haskins defenders out there (I still believe it's way too early to make judgement calls to bench him) but he's not helping his case with plays like that. My only hope is that the deep ball to Terry Mac helps him grow a pair and not be afraid to throw past the first down marker. Right now he's playing out of the Jason Campbell playbook, everything is going within 5 yards of the LOS.

After that 4th and goal play the defense got GASHED in the middle on run plays... and I wonder if they'd have play differently had Ron chosed to take the 3 points and make it a 2 possessions game. Difficult to ask guys to play hard every down when we're not trying to win the game... makes it difficult to grade the D on that game IMO. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk

It's realy weird, we clearly had an ugly loss to a far better team... but I didn't think the Ravens looked truly dominant. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: Ravens Postgame
The loss isn't that ugly, compared to last week. Ravens is a good team but isn't the team to beat - once you stop their running game, you have a good chance of winning the game.

Re: Ravens Postgame
I don’t see why they don’t use AGG now? 1-3 and probably 1-4 next week

Re: Ravens Postgame
The game was pretty much as expected for me, although I thought Haskins would be relieved of his duties at some point.
The worst part of the game for me was seeing Ron by himself taking breaks in the bench. Feel for that man. I respect his want, will, and strength, but I honestly wish he'd take a break, hand it over to Jack, and concentrate on himself. |
