That's a possible destination considering how thin they are at WR.

What could he give away? He wasn't paying attention in practice.

Re: Darnerien Done

Bottom line, I think McCant's considered his so called music career more important than football, and that probably came out in his attitude and work ethic. That is probably what got him cut, I am not in love with Dyson by any means, I also feel McCant's is better, but dedication is a big part of winning football, and the last thing Gibbs needs is a lack of dedication, it's very easy for that type of approach to fester throughout the rest of the team, especially if the going get's tough, Gibbs want's players who will fight their way out, not say oh well and go off and cut a record some where.

Re: Darnerien Done

I really don't care, his lackadaisical attitude wore on me, not to mention his strange rants on his site.

We've got enough redzone targets. Cooley, Royal, Moss, etc.

6'2...212 lbs vs. 6'3...214 lbs. Kevin Dyson is a red-zone threat as much as McCants. I know McCants made some good plays for us in previous years, but him being in Gibbs' doghouse since last year....it was only matter of time.

I flat out think McCants sucks. I'm glad he's gone.

Why do you dislike him? For a fifth-string wideout, McCants is spectacular. I think he's a decent #4 red-zone threat.

I distinctly recall a lot of people compare McCants to Monk last offseason. All of the sudden, he's a a nobody? We didn't see enough of him last season to retract such praise and heap loads of criticism on the guy.

Really liked him, not suprised by the move, though. I remember him catching that TD pass vs Philly in 2003; and was the only guy that would autograph anything for me at TC 2002. I wish him the best (except when he plays us).

Never got on-board the GIbbs program. If you don't work in practice, you will not make it on a Gibbs team.

Wonder if Dyson will make it? Gibbs likes him, no doubt, but do we have the room?

Re: Darnerien Done

His name has popped up on message boards for the Eagles for a few weeks. It wouldn't surprise me.

It would not surprise me either if the Eagles signed McCants.

Re: Darnerien Done

Dmac was an untapped resource. we got a glimpse of what he could do with spurrier.
i wish him the best.

but the thing that bothers me is there is no loyalty within the organization. we keep getting rid of the true redskins and bringing losers looking to pick up a paycheck.

patten, thrash and moss are a given. jacobs, i've lost all hope. dyson??? jesus... darnarien isnt the greatest guy in the world, but he is better than dyson.

How do you figure Dmac is a "true redskin" and who are the losers looking to pickup a paycheck?

Re: Darnerien Done

I'm kind of surprised this news isn't on any "mainstream" media sites. Maybe Kevin Dyson hacked www.darnerien.com and posted the story so that DMac wouldn't show up for practice and Dyson would clinch the spot. That Dyson, he's a shifty one
