The down side of all this Arrington benching stuff, is that there is NO WAY he plays for you guys next year. Not a chance.

From what I understand, his cap hit next year is about the same whether he's here or not. I'd rather pay for a quality player to play, rather than to leave. Plus, if this year continues like it is, and we go to the playoffs or at least make a solid run with a winning record, and he plays a part in it, I'd have a hard time seeing him wanting to leave, even after all this crap. If the season ends on a good note, this situation will seem like forever ago.
Basically, it's up to the Redskins, not Lavar. I may be in the minority here, but I really think LA will still be a Redskin in 2006 and beyond.

That might be wishful thinking.

Re: Coach Gibbs at His Finest

he will if the coaches want him to, his SB is massive (and thus his cap hit). If he shows up like he did on sunday, he'll still be here. He may be mad at the FO/staff, but publicly he's saying the right things, and he does like the fans and the town.

The one thing that gets me though is that if he had put forth this so called effort earlier in the season, would we have lost to denver and k.c.? I wonder if he sees it like that and blames himself? Just something to think about. Beat new york!!!!!!!!

I think the entire LaVar situation got way overblown in the media.

By seasons end all will be forgotten.
