Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
I feel like with so many fans there we should have crushed them. It must have been sweet to watch Sean Taylor fly all over the field and Rogers crushing receivers with a stadium full of Skins fans.

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
It was FILLED with Skins Fans -- I was there and every year we play here. It was Great -- Cardinals Fans were SHOCKED at the overwhelming Fans we had there. Not a great game, but we managed to "prevent" a loss finally. What is up with the play calling -- so boring and predictable -- and Brunell was horrible....PUT THE ROOKIE IN !!!

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
USA Today commented that there was a large contingent of Skins fans in Tempe. While I thought a decent number could show up out there, even that many surprised me. I can understand the Cowboys, Raiders or even the Bears and Packers (due to the large number of midwest snowbirds and retirees out there), but even that many was a very pleasant surprise. I listened to the game on Sirius and could clearly hear cheers everytime the Skins did something good.

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
I had 50 yard line seats and was about 15 rows back. It was my first redskins game EVER!
It was awesome. I think Salave'a was leading the charge on the sidelines a few times. We definitely represented and we drowned out the sorry Cardinals fans. The Brown return was beautiful, he was close to breaking it the last time since the Cardinals sent everything on the other side. Go Skins! |

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
Hey Tagliaboo boo, Forget about moving the Saints to California....... Is there anyway the Cardinals can move to L.A. and then change their name so they aren't Cardinals anymore? At least this way geographically they would still be in the NFC West. They would have to attract more Home fans that way!
On another note, St. Louis and Arizona have to be a couple of the best places for Skins fans to get tickets to see their team play away from home. St. Louis sounded dead last week on TV. They don't support their team either. |

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
Is it just me or do the Cardinals have the second most pansy-ass logo (Dolphins being the first)? Like even though the bird has a "mean face", it definitely has room to look angrier.

They already did try to make it look meaner
On the left is the old logo, on the right the "improved" one ![]() |

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
yeah they'd need to add fangs, a tattoo and maybe a scar to make that cardinal look mean...

Yeah, cause if you're the Browns at least if you win you can stay, "We just did our symbol all OVER YOU."

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
I was in section 32, row 27. Lots of Skins fans there, but the stadium was at least half empty. It was the worst stadium experience (outside of the victory) that I've ever had.

Re: Arizona stadium - our home away from home?
At the game yesterday I saw more Skins jerseys than any other @AZ vs. Skins game I've ever been to. Once play started after the half I had more crap talked to me in the next 27 minutes of play than I ever had anywhere. I say 27 minutes because we were escorted out with 3 minutes to go. We were sitting in the second row on the Skins side 35 yard line and toward the north end zone. We had complete strangers screaming in our ears, people touching my hat, and one guy wanting to fight me and another girl wanting to fight my girlfriend. All we did was celebrate when it was warranted and shut our mouths when the Cards did something productive. Way to go Cards fans----you guys showed how much class you have or lack their of. On our way out of being hometeamed - blamed for their behavior, I pointed at the scoreboard to about a dozen people who were applauding that we were being kicked out. It was incredible to see so much burgundy and gold in the stands!
