Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

I just woke up to see what our Skins are doing (it is 3 AM over here) and well... I think I will go back to my bed...

Well, at least we can still say we're 3-1 in the preseason.

Good old fashion but whipping. Just what we needed to get our heads out of the clouds. We are getting beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides. The Panthers always seem to control the line of scrimmage against the Skins. Golston and Montgomery are getting manhandled and everyone on our O-line is getting blown-up.

I can't see it, are you telling me they look worse than the Pats game last year? I didn't think that was possible.

Quick question...have they quit? Or are they still fighting their guts out?

It's about the same. That was about the only other game when they didn't look like they wanted to compete.

It's not the end of the world, but it is a reality check.

They're saying a knee sprain, which is what they say about every knee injury before an MRI. He walked off though, so maybe, just maybe he'll be okay.

SGG got it right, I wish this was one game that had a "reset" button.

And they game-planned for this game. That's scary.

Two things will come from this ass kicking...

1. We will see how Zorn responds and apparently they were game planning for this game? At least they will get to change how they do that!

2. JT may have a severe injury and James may be a diamond in the rough at DE.

Upon what do you base this statement?

From what everyone is saying...agonizing pain on the sideline and then carted off from the sidelines...just an assumption (yes, I know).

They stated it was a sprain or strained knee. Where are you getting the severe injury news?
