I had the same reservations. I also heard that his production was mostly against weak OL's. Then two things happened. First, I saw him dominate against some good OL's. Second, I heard him in an interview admit that he needs to work harder and he assured the interviewer that he is looking forward to being coached because he wants to become the best NFL player he can be. Now, I'm not naive but I got the feeling that he meant what he said.

I don't get to draft anyone but I'm glad the Skins are bringing him in for a visit. I feel confident that they'll learn enough about him so we all can rest easy if they should pick him in the first round.

I can agree with that, but I'd err on the side of caution. If it is between him or another player, and all else is equal, I'd shy away from him.

He played and dominated against a slew of very good OT's. Whoever said different was talking out their arse.
He also had an ankle injury midway thru the season. So im sure he did not want to risk his future. Different story in the big leagues. Dude is going to be a beast and I hope we snatch him up.

This is the kind of player I'm really not sure about. They want to be the best NFL player he can be. Shouldn't you have that same attitude in college or even high school? I had that attitude on Saturdays in the Church yard or the elementary school grounds when me and the boys played. I just wanted to knock the hell out of somebody and win. If you love what you're doing, that's what you do. He has so much talent maybe he can take some plays off. But I'm not looking for someone to take plays off. If we draft him I just hope he gives it his all every down.

Do you think the injury coupled with risking millions might have had something to do with it? I mean maybe he is a lazy piece of shit, i dont know.

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

I did a lot of trading back. This draft is stacked and we can use a lot of help. I know this isn't at all realistic, but damn it would be nice.

Your score is: 15593 (GRADE: A+)

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 19 (DEN): Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech (A+)
Round 2 Pick 21 (DET): Duke Riley, OLB, LSU (A)
Round 2 Pick 22 (MIA): Marcus Sanders-Williams, FS, Utah (A-)
Round 3 Pick 6 (NYJ): Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama (A-)
Round 3 Pick 9 (CINN): Dan Feeney, OG, Indiana (A+)
Round 3 Pick 17: Tyler Orlosky, C, West Virginia (A-)
Round 3 Pick 18 (DEN): Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan (A-)
Round 3 Pick 21 (DET): Jake Butt, TE, Michigan (A+)
Round 3 Pick 24 (OAK): David Sharpe, OT, Florida (B+)
Round 3 Pick 43 (NYJ): JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Southern California (A+)
Round 4 Pick 7: Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU (A)
Round 4 Pick 17: Connor Harris, ILB, Lindenwood (B+)
Round 4 Pick 20 (DEN): Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma (A-)
Round 4 Pick 23 (OAK): Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson (A-)
Round 5 Pick 10: Dawuane Smoot, DE/OLB, Illinois (B+)
Round 6 Pick 17: Ben Gedeon, ILB, Michigan (B+)
Round 6 Pick 25: Stevie Tu'ikolovatu, DT, Southern California (A-)
Round 7 Pick 2: Channing Stribling, CB, Michigan (B)
Round 7 Pick 17: Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A+)

So having nearly a quarter of the picks in the 3rd round isn't realistic? You sure about that?

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

Final thoughts on 17, if we are truely taking the best prospect here is my hope:

1. Jonathan Allen
2. Ruben Foster
3. McCaffery/Cook

I think all have a reasonable belief they could be there. If all are gone, I think we should trade back

I have some doubts about these players, Chico.

I'd take Allen in a heartbeat but I think you're hope that he'll be available at #17 is not realistic. He's a Top Five prospect all day long. Being picked in the Top 10 is worst case for him.

Reuben Foster has the most entertaining highlight tapes going. I love the way he plays football. But he's coming off of rotator cuff surgery and I'm concerned that with his smallish size and the violent way he plays that other injuries may be expected. That's why I would draft Haason Reddick ahead of him.

McCaffery could be a near-perfect fit for our offense, if used properly. He's also terrific on ST. I have no problem with him at #17 but he plays offense rather than defense and he's not a bell-cow RB.

Cook has a fumbling problem and he's a POS woman beater. I don't want him, period.

There are other players I'd draft at #17: Haason Reddick, Malik McDowell, Chris Wormley, Tre'Davious White, Jabril Peppers and a few others who would need to fall in the draft.

I like Reddick but feel like he is a gamble bc he is gonna have to change positions so I need a stronger floor . Again I like him, don't love him. Jabril is a freak, but where does he fit? This is a like him, don't love him.

Wormley I would be very disappointed with at 17. Malik McDowell would be a better pick, but when you show a lack of passion for the game, you cant go at 17. I think you could move back and get White. He would be disappointing pick at 17.

Allen stock has been falling a little bit. Depends on the offensive players rise in the draft...WR, TE, RB and QB.
