Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Started a new thread. Figured it was thread worthy. I know people are going to lose their shit over the price tag.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Not sure if I like giving him 4 years, but I am glad we resigned him. I remember last year many WP members were in favor of letting him go, and then he had a good season. Hopefully he continues to play well.

-He's been consistently productive his entire career, not just in a contract year. -He missed one season out of five due to injury. -He's a better all around LB than some fans give him credit for and he's improved in coverage. He's also solid vs the run. -If we don't lock him up there will be plenty of teams more than willing to get their hands on him long term. Last edited by MTK; 02-18-2014 at 07:48 PM. |

Let another team sign him, it's time to move on from this experiment, he's an undersized rush end. He was injured the season before the year he missed, and in that previous year his pectoral was partially torn for half the year and was largely ineffective. |

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
what game are you guys watching on sunday? orakpo is a top tier FA, and franchise QBs, LTs, and elite pass rushers don't get onto the market often.
check his sack % (sack per pass rush attempt), it's good, even with doubles. peyton manning was on a 1-15 team, obviously they should have cut him on the spot, cause it's impossible for anyone to be a good player on a bad team. |

Current 2014 Free Agents

This injury thing with him is tiring. This is what really happened. He got injured in week 17 of 2011, re-injured it in week 2 of 2012. He missed 14 games in 2012. Outside of that he's missed just 2 other games. He's made multiple Pro Bowls, safe to say LB is not just an experiment. Washington Redskins Can't Let Brian Orakpo Go | Bleacher Report |

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Orakpo is going to 1) get a long term deal -OR- 2) get the franchise tag. He will not be on another squad this season. I guar-on-tee it. I heard on the radio this morning that the skins and orakpo's people have been pass dollar amount back and forth to find a common ground. It will happen, just takes time.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
there's no way we can let him walk, so if no deal, of course the tag.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Definition of a loser. Davis is the type of player that makes fans hate athletes. So much talent, so many opportunities, so much unfulfilled promise. I usually shy away from making personal assessments but dude is just a complete loser. I can't think of another word to describe him with.

He's really not a good value at that number. Hopefully the skins will realize that he's not a top shelf LB and let him walk if he wants more than 7 mil, |
