Good points. I'll admit it's not a highly documented opinion on my part, but from what I've read and heard, Washington simply is a way bigger market than Denver, hence a properly managed franchise would generate more $.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this will be over 'soon'. The ice is breaking and Dan's about to fall right through it. He will put up a fight, but I think the inevitability is starting to set in for me. I just don't see how the NFL (owners / Goodell) can be ok with one of their franchises being dragged through the mud, with the biggest of spotlights on it. The only thing Snyder is trying to hang his hat on is this supposed culture change that is underway. Almost acknowledging all the wrongdoings and shenanigans in the past, but promising that things are changing. The problem with that is, you can't ignore the past - which every day looks worse and worse; and a leopard doesn't change it's spots. Dan is Dan - and that will never change. Thus the culture will never truly change. I have a feeling there are legit discussions regarding how and when to remove him. I think it's just a matter of time.

I realize many fans just don't like the Owners and assume all are Billionaires and little rich kids but truth is a few of these teams are owned by groups and not just one person and yes while the team is worth Billions the Owners might not be. I agree some Owners might have shit to hide but to assume all owners are bad because they are NFL Owners is BS. Don't get me wrong fans can dislike who ever they want but lets not assume all do the same BS as this guy or that guy.

I admit I am way off on the value of teams. I thought some teams would be way more valuable then they seem . Steelers for one Saints and Chargers are others. What is interesting is the disparity in the "operating cost" numbers.

To be fair I don't think it's completely absurd to say the circumstances of the sale would impact the price to some extent. But on the long run an NFL franchise in the US city capital still will be worth crazy money.

I agree but that was also my point, they don't play in DC. They train in VA and play in Maryland. Like the Giants are in the NY Metro area they represent the Washington Metro area.

Fair enough, but if they start winning they'll still get the DC market back. And I think their valuation reflects that. Despite all of Snyder's BS, a billionaire that thinks of himself as competent can still say to himself (or themselves if it's a group of people buying as you pointed out) "if this PoS can still make $ with this franchise, wait until I/we run the show properly!".
