no salary floor... have a 0 man roster, close the stadium, but pocket their share of the tv deal... everyone wins. more money here, and less human suffering in cali.

At this point, with all these restructuings happening, I'm almost rooting for the CBA not to get signed, because it looks like were in ok shape (altho a 2k8 lockout scares me).

It appears he did based on the WP article, but it's not 100%. If he did, great, that means he'll be with us next year and we can finally quash all the talk about trading him.

I hope so. I consider Lavar a core guy.

I love to hear the story just how this all went down! I thinK that Gibbs is so right about how tight this team has become. I also believe that Gibbs and FO really had a strong idea that this was going to happen and had a plan! Just think what would have happen if Steve S was running the show!!! Thank God for Joe Gibbs!!!

How much space will we have if they extend the CBA and we keep the resturctured contracts & cuts that we're doing to get under the $94.5 million cap? We could be serious players in free agency..

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

restructures are all contigents on a dead cba. if a new cba got done and we did that, everyone would be gone next year.

Re: Springs Restructures Too, Cap Situation Not Dire?

I read in the WP that the restructured contracts would be altered or voided altogether.
