Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
I figured out the trick for Subway (but my coworkers seem to think it's dumb). I always bitch that their bread is too big for the portions of meat that they give you, so I've started ordering 6" subs instead of the normal 12", but I get them with double meat. That way, I get the same amount that would come on the 12" but with less bread, plus I save a buck.
It seems to make sense to me.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
Good call. Basically when I go there I just get the sub I would have made at home.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
I haven't tried one of those yet because I've been stuck on the Chicken Carbonara subs from Q's. Chicken, alfredo sauce, bacon, clogged arteries...what's not to love?! I top mine off with Jalepenos.
Next time! I have had Q's "cheesesteak" subs and I was disappointed. It was good, really...but it wasn't what I know as a Cheesesteak. |

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
They play that clip in the screen at UMD football games now. It was hilarious the first time they did it because I wasn't expecting it. Still pretty good, but much more expected.

You know what else is great? A Cubano sandwich (Redskins_P knows what I'm talking about). I used to go to the same snack stand every day for lunch in Puerto Rico and buy one of those from some older man. The man's granddaughter would help him out every now and then. Nice girl, really friendly, kinda cute....she went on to become Miss Universe

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
Cubano sandwiches rock. I get those when I'm down in Florida myself. I HATE mayo, so it's not truly cuban when I get it without, but those are the hotness.
