It's called self restraint. If you truly are sick of it, actually post on other comments and don't even read those draft threads.

Instead of putting a negative connotation to this, I think we should all be proud that we have such devoted fans. We are so intrigued with the Skins, and they have become such a vital part of our lives, that we hang on every word that is spoke about them. Why? Cause the Skins are in all of us. We bleed burgandy and gold. I don't know about you, but I'm proud to say I am a member of the greatest team and fan base in all the country, and stuff like this proves it. Of course, you all have the Skins fans everywhere out there, to be a Skins fan out here is borderline dangerous. haha.
Devoted fans, yes...but making up crazy trade scenarios that have no chance of happening over and over and over is not one of the signs of devotion.

haha...9 times out of ten they heard it from somewhere else and are regurgitating it here.
Some fans are fanatical, and some are obsessive. It's the law of averages.

And as soon as the Redskins make their pick, or do whatever they're going to do, I'm going to find something else to do. I could care less about what some other team does in the draft because I don't pay to see them play.

It was summed up for me when I read a post on a recent that stated (to paraphrase):
Geez, I wish this thread would die......and I started it!

Re: self-imposed ban on draft talk

We should all sign this but not let GTripp. Then we can sit back as he engages in heated dialogues with himself for the next several days.

Good GTripp: If you extrapolate the algorithmic intersection of the cosine over the absolute value of -5 during central time zone games in which Adrian Peterson ran a sweep left to start the 2nd quarter you can clearly see that his IPO value is exponentially better than Marshawn Lynch

Bad GTripp: Yeah, but I kinda like Lynch.

Good GTripp: I have a protractor and a TI-89 and I'm not afraid to use it

Bad GTripp: Lynch 32 starts; Peterson 21

Good GTripp: <<Spontaneously combusts>>

(I'm going to be at the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art this Saturday anyway, soaking in some culture!)

Damn, that's actually a very good impersonation.

This is really funny...just FYI, I've read it three times and laughed all three times.

That's one of funniest posts I've ever read. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate GTripp's cerebral approach to football analysis, but that's still friggin' hilarious

I don't mind the draft talk to an extent, I just can't stand hearing about how the Redskins should get Calvin Johnson.

Re: self-imposed ban on draft talk

Agreed. However, what's left to talk about? NFL Europe? I can no longer tell who each player plays for or tell which ones do not have a team and are looking to get brought in. The NFL has very little to talk about other then a specific CB for the Titans.lol. or majority of the Cincinati Bangles.lol. You've come this far....it's only 4 more days.lol. Then talk will revolve around why we should have picked someone else and who had the best draft. Oh and how we are going to the SB because of the picks we picked. I can tell you I'm checking all the sites for any new information all the time also.
I love the super secret no one is supposed to know, my friends mothers friend who works for the Redskins or ESPN has inside intell and I am obligated to tell everyone about it.
" An expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less until they know absolutly everything about nothing at all."
We are now all EXPERTS.lol.

I can't take it anymore either. As matter of fact, I can't wait until we can actually start talking about games rather than offseason hype!
