Golston and Montgomery HAVE to be great for us. If not, we are going to be hurting along the line for a couple of years. I think secondary is young and talented enough. If McIntosh and Blades can be good to great starters for us then we should always be able to grab a decent FA LB (Ken Harvey style). Overall, we have good infusion of very talented youth.

I like using that one for representing myself when I brag about getting the rare opportunity to drink large quantities (3 bottles) of beer in one sitting.

Oh, and I like the pace of the off-season so far. Most of our positions have a good if not really good player under contract for the next few years. I guess O-line is an exception to that.

I'll be looking for two things defensively:1. 4.0 yards per rush allowed or less, and2. 25 ints We do that, we go to the Big Game. Apparently there is a train wreck ahead that is smashing all my paragraphs together.

Re: Redskins Insider: This Should Hold You Over

Nice to get us back on track.

I'm curious as to whether or not we can finally get some young talent on the defensive side of the ball. Imagine if Carter can continue his tear from last year, Golston and Montgomery prove to be the beasts their teammates are saying they are and Rocky is at LEAST above average. I'd take that any day.

Sure, we have older LBs in Fletcher and Washington (just a little old) but apparently Blades is good, so that might be nice. In the end, it just might turn out our picks were gold.

I think the coaching staff is going to find a way to keep Jordan Palmer. So we could keep 4 QB's which is unlikely. Or cut Brunell or Collins.

Jordan Palmer seems like the perfect candidate for practice squad. Bramlet's playing pretty well in NFL Europe. So maybe he makes it as a #3 and probably Collins gets cut.

I was thinking that same thing. It could be that Collins gets the ax, and Bramlett get's the nod as #3. It's going to be interesting to see how that situation plays out. I would like to see Palmer at least make the PS and watch his development.

Does anyone else get the feeling that something special is coming together for this season? Because I do. Of course, I have historically been completely wrong on such things when it comes to the Skins, but still, I'm feeling internally confident.

I think I feel a 12-4 season and home field throughout the playoffs. I know I will get bashed for this but, since 2001 no other team has had more losses by 4 or more points than we have and you can only be unlucky for so long. I see alot of those 4 point games going our way. That is why I think we will go 12-4.

I agree. However, I do realize my complete and utter homerism takes over when it comes to this team and especially Joe Gibbs. I refuse to believe that he will go out a loser.

He cannot go out as a loser. He is already in the HOF.
