Re: 12th's 2007 NFC EAST PREDICTIONS
I'm not too worried about the Eagles. They'll start hot and die as always. McNabb just can't stay healthy and without Garcia they're in trouble. I also doubt Reggie Brown and the rest of their receivers can make up for a Stallworth. Their D is fairly solid and will be competing for the division. I think Dallas has a very well rounded team and could play very well if Wade Phillips can get it together. The D may be something to be reckoned with if he can turn those LBs into machines like he did in SD.
The Redskins right now are really in limbo, we have a lot of questions. If most of them pan out (I feel our defense will really bounce back. Last year was the exception, not the rule) but I'm not sure Campbell is ready to make a huge leap yet. Will we try to overprotect him and not let him make some tough throws? Will we be over-conservative and run too much? While I feel our line and team (Portis / Betts combo) is built for running to be followed by playaction, but I could see us overdoing it and handcuffing the offense.

It will be interesting to see how we let Cambell run the team. That's going to be the most interesting side story coming out of camp. |

I agree, if JC doesn't improve a ton, along with Lloyd, our offense will stink. Eagles are the favs' but that only matters if McNabb is healthy. Dallas is a big ? They could be a very formidable team. I am betting they will be. The Gmen are toast!!!!! Put a fork in MR. Eli!!!! NFC East 2007 Predictions 10-6 Dallas * 9-7 Washington * 8-8 Philly 5-11 New York *If JC and his WR Crew get it together switch ranking easily!!!!! |

And Lloyd....? You really believe those are the only two keys to our offense being a sucess or we will stink, your dead wrong! What about our O-line, Clinton, Santana, El, Cooley, Betts, Sellers, Thrash, these are huge pieces of are offensive sucess. JC doesn't have to win the game for us but he can't give the game away either, he has to be smart and put the ball in the hands of skilled players and let them do there job. We will win the division!

YEah they are the key to the offense. Why, because the other elements of the offense worked fine last season. Our offense was not much of a threat in the air and hindered our offensive production. Last time I checked Moss is part of the WR corp that I mentioned. As for winning the division that is a distinct possibility, but our air game must improve and our defense must improve a lot as well. Also I how many times have we fans been put in this situation as of late? We stink one year with a banged up team, everyone gets healthy and we say " We are going to kick ass this year!!!" Only in the end to get another subpar year.Too many holes and what if's to just give the Skins the division on a platter. If more of the ifs and outright questions get anwered about this team in the affirmative we can definitely win the division for sure. Just don't hold your breath. |

Re: 12th's 2007 NFC EAST PREDICTIONS
I think most of us here, and maybe I'm being presumptuous, want JC to have a great year. He doesn't have to. If he can simply build on what he did last year, and keep mistakes to a reasonble minimum, we'll be fine.
If JC can throw for 2,500 yds, 12TDS, 5-6 Ints...I'd put money on a playoff berth. |
