I'm certain Gibbs isn't overlooking anybody. I also think we have a legitimate chance to go 6-0.

Re: Time to focus on going 3-0

The Giants will bring their A game next week. They got totally embarassed by the Packers. I would be a little worried, but I think Gibbs will have the guys focused and ready to go. We can't get comfortable just because we're 2-0.

when the giants look at the film and see the deep threat we are starting to create, there will be some room to run

Point well taken.

If one has season tickets, and thus direct fiscal contribution to the team, is the 'we' allowed then?

They do stink, but you know what my burgundy brother? On paper we have been the better team even when Fassel was still the Gmen HC. We have a sad ass record against the Gmen as of late, even when personnel wise we fielded a superior team talent wise. One game at a time. Although McNabb is a better QB, Eli has a much better WR corp to work with. McNabb had no where to throw to til the end when we were in prevent giving him the underneath stuff. Eli has burners for WRs(compared to what McNabb had), not to mention Shockey. I still think we will win, but we can't take any of the intra divisional contests as gimmes.

i think the skins will lay an enourmous ass whipping on the NYG next weekend.
if i were the coaches on the skins staff, all i would do is make them look at the ass whipping the giants put on them the last game of the 2006 season when tikki barber set the team record for most yards rushing in a game!!!!!

Re: Time to focus on going 3-0

Controlling their passing game will be the key--man, am I glad Tiki retired! It seemed like he had a career day against us every time we played. This is the week I would like to see our D get some TOs--pressure and rattle Eli and get some picks. That would go a long way to winning it.

As for our O, we're going with a whole new right side of the line--I think Buges will make it work, but I am not sold on Fabini as an every day player. Hope that won't make things too hard on us.

I am confident, but I agree that we've all seen too many weird things happen in just this sort of game to be cocky, even though the Gmen suck right now. They've had our number lately. They're probably thinking this is just what they need to save their season--into DC, win against a division rival, and tighten up the standings. We can't over look them. We must crush the life and hope out of them on the field. Then we can worry about the nest game.

Giants stink on defense. Their passing game scares me. Carlos and Smoot had better be ready.

Re: Time to focus on going 3-0

I don't think we should underestimate the Giants. Mainly because we are the Redskins and they are the Giants. Honestly though I feel an upset for the Giants in my bones. We are going to get too cocky. Also their defense might be terrible but we don't exactly have a grade A offense to take full advantage of that. Another thing is they can throw the ball and that back up running back Ward or whatever can move. This could be closer than everyone thinks.
