Re: Ron Springs in coma
Hey I have a question, so I figure I would post it here. This is going to come out wrong most likley, but I'm turning 22 next week and I'm lucky enough to not have lost any family members yet, so I dont really know how this works...but with that article coming out a couple of weeks ago saying that Ron had "no hope for survival", do they keep him alive until the family decides to end it, or is that the doctors call so that maybe they see something good coming along or something? I'm just really confused about how they could say he had no hope for survival nearly 3 weeks ago, and he's still alive....
Again I am hoping for the best, I really just dont know how this works. Thanks.

I don't really know what they mean by 'no chance of survival' either. I have heard that doctors have said best-case condition probably is a "vegetable" state. This week certainly has to be extremely hard for the family considering its Thanksgiving and Ron Springs used to play ever Thanksgiving as a Cowboy and now Shawn can't even communicate with him. I can't imagine how difficult it is and has been for their family. |
