Oh, and he had 4 TD's and 5 fumbles, and 4 of those were fumbles lost. Thats a Helluva horse you got there. With a back like him who needs a run defense.

Re: Portis or Westbrook?

How about we get this back on track? Yes, the Giants won the SB - well done. None of us want Jacobs, so enjoy him.

Between CP and Westbrook, I'd take CP. He's younger and I think he's a better all-around back. He may never get as many total yards as Westbrook, but when you add the blocking and north/south running, that tips the scales for me.

I predict Clinton Portis will have a big year because hes going back to a West Coast system like he had in Denver. HE'S A SYSTEM BACK!!!

amen to that brother, finally someone speaking some truth up in this piece.

Portis is horribly overrated. The Skins paid him $50M... that's a joke.

You're quickly making a fool of yourself. I humbly suggest you take a moment and think things through. Seize and desist your foolishness while you're far behind.

Show us some real balls and start a thread about your precious Brandon Jacobs that has nothing to do with this thread. See how long you last here.

Does a system back put up the numbers that Portis has? No!!! A system back goes to the Lions or the Ravens and becomes a nobody and barely make the team. Portis never had his job in question when he came here even with Ladell Betts showing what he can do, Portis still came out on top and proved that he is just a Running back not a system back... PERIOD!!

Re: Portis or Westbrook?

Why does denim monger still have a positive reputation?
Mods feel free to delete whenever. It has nothing to do with the thread.
