Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
i love how our draft picks are playing big and costing us almost nothing in cap space... rocky had 10 tackles and a FF, rogers caught a ball! horton/doughty/landry holding down the safety spot... golston with a sack. campbell doing a great job, heyer blocking, thomas showing flashes that he might have a real nice future here...
this sure beats the s--- out of the ramsey/gardner/taylor jacobs/mccullough days of craptitudinal drafting. remember when chicago offered AO for ramsey straight up during ramsey's hold out? what a day for that FO to misplace their lonely brain cell :/. it's soo much better now. |

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
On offense JC did was spot on again this week.
On defense Springs basically shut Boldin down and let us roll bracjet coverage on Fitzgerald.. He gets my nod for that alone. |

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
This was a good team effort and no one player really stood out so I'm going with JC.

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
This week is an easier decision than last week when EVERYONE deserved it.
Campbell gets it.

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
It would be easy for me to give it to Campbell, but Rogers pick really made the difference in the momentum of the game.

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
I thought about Springs (for shutting down Boldin) and Rogers (big pick late) but took Other and went with Rocky McIntosh. 10 tackles (7 solo, 3 assist), .5 sacks, and a forced fumble. This from a guy who tore the ACL in December, he's flying all over the place in September.

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
Rocky has been playing awesome since last year and seems to be improving even more, it looks like he could be one of the better LB's in the league. He's a monster

Re: Skins/Cardinals MVP
As was pointed out last week by post game heros, it seems that Golston's game has improved. Again this week he had several good plays that helped our D slow down the cars, including a sack in which he pushed his man right back into the pocket, bulled over him, and got to Warner singlehandedly disrupting the play. He also had a few good plays against the run.
Edit: I didn't know where to post this, but I thought it was worth mentioning. |
