No you're not, you're just sleeping with them.

He's had the dropsies his entire career going back to Michigan. His hands have never been his strong point. I wouldn't bet on that magically changing in NY.

I tend to think JC is a much better QB the Quinn. Also where are all the Colt fans? If I were them I would be pissed that fans are wanting the team to look elswhere instead of seeing what he's got. lol. ....and what I mean by that is 4 preseason games does not make or break a QB.

I kinda get the feeling you guys have no faith in our QB coach. lol. Can he not develope QB's? Now your talking Edwards like you don't trust the WR coach. lol.

I'm here to represent!!! Colt should be given a shot! But I do have a soft spot for Quinn. I really like this kid, and I think he can be something special in the NFL someday. Unsure if coming to Washington is ideal for him though...we tend to have extremely short leashes, and shorter memories when it comes to our QB performances.
All that being said, why not let Campbell have another year? I thought he did fine last year. He had moments of greatness, and moments of regression. But still, are we ready to throw him away? I say no, give him 1 more year. Makes me wonder if the "QB Guru" in Zorn just doesn't like his team being run by Campbell for some reason. Why do we seem so willing to trade him away or find a replacement?

I doubt that. Why then when the trade negotiations with Denver were at a fever pitch, would Zorn call Campbell into his office to reassure him that he was his guy? If Zorn wasn't sold on him, my guess is that meeting never would have taken place.

Its all about positioning / confidence. Why go behind the FO's back and tell Campbell he's his man too? If Campbell leaves town, it won't matter what Zorn said to him cause he could always pass it off as Snyderatto making a move he didn't approve of. But if the deal doesn't get done (which obviously happened) then he can say "see, I wanted to keep you...you're my guy" which gives Campbell a boost of confidence. They needed to help the kid in that area somehow. Say what you want about his head being on straight, no player wants to be talked about in trade rumors unless the player actually wants to leave town. These trade rumor probably got Campbell a little depressed, and Zorn did what any good coach would do, calm his fears down the best way he knew how. If they are going to be "stuck" with Campbell, best to make Campbell THINK he is wanted, rather than THINK he is unwanted.

I doubt we will trade for QUINN or Anderson on Draft day... That said you never know with Our skins, now they say we may trade up for Sanchez! If this happens then JC deserves better, F the Browns lol.

I agree with you. JC would deserve better. If the Skins do take Sanchez, this kid should grow a moustache and change his first name to Dirty.

^^^^this ftw lol

It would really hurt my feelings if we moved up and took a QB or traded for one. JC's been pretty cool about all this and its the last year of his contract.

It's time to play big ball for JC and he knows it.

Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)

Funny. JC played lights out for 8 games and was being talked about for Probowl. Then the last 8 games happen and all of a sudden he sucks. Something changed between the first 8 games and the last 8 but I doubt it was all JC's fault.

Some have mentioned that the line broke down. If that's the case how come no one is calling for people's heads on the O-line as much as they are about JC's? and instead of upgrading the QB spot people keep talking about QB with similar talent and stats. go figure.

Yes he has a slow throwing motion.
Yes he does take more time going through his progressions, but could it possibly be learning a new offense and trusting that WR's will be where they are supposed to be?

and possibly he has trouble reading defenses. however for 8 games he read them well. No interceptions. Hopefully he can be the JC of the first 8 games all season next yr.

Well, we don't know how much the Giants are offering. And why is Edwards suddenly not likely to drop passes in New York?

Now the Giants look like they have made a bunch of great moves and if they can secure Braylon Edwards, were going to have our hands full.
