Re: RI: Defense Tweaked with Haynesworth 'No Space Eater'
So who do you (that is everybody) feel is best suited to play next to AH to better suit his play. Griffin or Monty or Kedric? I'm going Griffin, he still has the push and complements AH pass rsuhing skills.

I think we're in a win/win situation there since all 3 would benefit playing next to AH and all 3 are capable of having outstanding years. Monty would definitely make it a stout middle with the beef he brings.

Re: RI: Defense Tweaked with Haynesworth 'No Space Eater'
Ive got to say, adding Haynesworth and Orakpo changed the whole dynamic of our defensive line. Where as DT and DE were very weak positions before, now we are pretty stinking deep. Granted, we don’t know who will make the final roster, Haynesworth, Griffin, Golston, and Montgommery, Carter, Orakpo, Daniels, Wynn, and Alexander make for a fairly deep line.
I think Haynesworth and Griffin will be our “starters,” but I doubt both of them will be on the field at the same time very often. Haynesworth is only going to play a little more than 50% of the snaps at his age, Griffin should be rotated fairly often as well. It would make sense to avoid situations where Golston and Monty were on the field at the same time as much as possible, so I Imagine Haynesworth and Griffin will play “tag” a lot and relieve each other. I’m also curious to see if we still move Daniels inside on some 3rd downs and have Haynesworth move outside, as he did fairly regularly in Tennessee. I’d love to see situations where a RT and TE have to deal with Haynesworth AND Orakpo… it wouldn’t be pretty for the quarterback.

I sure hope big Al is on the field for more than 50% of the snaps or we're not getting our moneys worth. At his age? He's 27.

Re: RI: Defense Tweaked with Haynesworth 'No Space Eater'
He played about 60% of the snaps for Tennessee, but that was due to missing a few games with injuries. He averages a heckuva lot more than 50% of the snaps in the games he plays. And the "at his age" comment makes no sense. Not sure where BHA is getting this stuff.
