This is a good trade for both teams. The Raiders have NO QB who can consistently play. Campbell has the arm to for the vertical passing game that Al loves. You could take out the 3rd in 2011 and the trade might be a little more balanced but a deal of our 1st and Campbell for their 1st, 2nd, and lowest 5th works for both teams. I was just trying to get back a McNabb pick from the Raiders who throw draft picks around like Cerrato did here for several years.

Throw in a Bill Belichick mask for Bruce Allen, and we have this deal done.

Oakland's #1 (8th overall) 1400 points
Oakland's #2 (39th overall) 520 points
Oakland's #5 (158th overall) 28 points
Oakland's #3 2011
Maybe Davis is dyslexic and will think he is getting CJ Spiller instead of JC

What about this one: we trade down with Denver to the 11th pick and Brandon Marshall. They get the 4th pick.

I hope we can trade down somehow and swap 1st round picks, pick up a 2nd round, trade JC for 3rd round pick that would leave us with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 7th round picks plus McNabb.

We will only have 1 3rd round pick. We lost one when we got Jarmon.

I'm pretty certain thats what we'll see. In a best case scenario, we could end up trading our first for both of SF's 1sts, trading Haynesworth for low 1st, Rogers for a 3rd, Cooley/Davis for a 3rd, McIntosh for a 4th and Carter for a 5th. We could even trade one of those 1st's for a 2nd and a 3rd.

That would give us a 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd 4th, 4th, 5th, 7th, and Donovan McNabb.

Granted, we're not likely go be able to make THAT many moves, but i'd be shocked if we don't do alot of wheeling and dealing before and during the draft. At minimum, i'm 95% sure that we will trade out of the #4 overall pick now that its almost a certainty that Suh or McCoy will be available there.

That grilled cheese is still available for Landry. Just thought I'd mention it.

Well, swapping 1sts with denver and packaging JC and Thomas for Marshall........That IMO would be the best deal we could make, given the circumstances........

Man I really want Marshall now.........

Can't we just go out and pick up T.O.? I mean it would be keeping up with the theme.... older guys for cheap hoping they do well. We don't give up anything for him and can stock pile picks for the draft when we trade away JC to Buffalo, Rogers to whoever, Carter to whoever.

No one wants AH's contract so I don't see us trading him away. Plus as much as he's not happy with the 3-4 I think he will be happy when he and the NT are both bowling people over going after the QB.

Re: New possible trade/draft scenarios

picks aren't everything. these are proven vetrans. We just need enough picks to get 2 starting tackles.

We need to get Okung in the draft and Gaither from the Ravens.

Okung - Dockery - Rabach/E. Williams/Rnd 4 pick - Hicks - Gaither

Backups: Rinehart/M. Williams/Heyer/Oldenburg/Montgomery/Lichyenseiger/Robinson.

That line looks solid except for Center. I think we could easily pull this off (getting both Tackles). The Ravens have just about said Gaither lost his spot to Oniel Cousins:
