I didn't and still don't have a problem with Zorn's dodgeball/slip slide methods that you mention, Zorn's problems were as a head coach/offensive coordinator, not as qb coach.

If AH shows, I would love to see the daily practices that Shanahan/Haslett put him through. I am pretty sure he will have an injury after one day!

You are right but I just can't help but feeling his 4H summer camp games reflected how players saw and felt about him. Obviously it was not with respect and seriousness. I mean I know the guys pulled for him during the year, but everyone could tell the way he ran things and handled things was a joke. It is probably a lot harder to take a QB coach seriously if you can't take him seriously as a play caller or head coach. Especially not after you get play calling stripped from you for B4, N37, O62.

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation

On the Sports blog on the Washington Post website every other post is about Alber and this player's and that player's reaction to his selfishness.

It is getting a little old to only hear this crap. Can't wait till training camp to get this fat guy here and hopefully calm some of this constant talk. OR we get to training camp and it all keeps up even worse then before, and we don't get the real news we want to hear coming out of Redskins Park.

Well, seeing as how we have gone 10 days without a comment, I thought it my duty to break the dryspell

Ndamukong Suh: Man of the World - Shutdown Corner - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

A good piece on Suh, and at the end he is asked about AH's situation...

I personally prefer a 4-3. It's a lot more fun. You got one-on-ones, and get to destroy players and do things of that sort. So it's a lot of fun. I understand where Haynesworth is with that."
He sounds very rational, and also says professionals adapt, so he's not making a strong defense of ah, but I thought that comment crystalized why ah is pouting.

I'm sure there are a lot of players that privately agree with Haynesworth in principles, though I'm going to guess many of them wouldn't handle it in the same situation...but who knows.

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation

I honestly don't have any faith in AH coming to camp (in shape), working hard, and keeping his mouth shut.

LOL - I really dont either, but trying to be optomistic for once regarding this team and front office.

I was holding out hope until he skipped out on the mandatory minicamp and said he wanted to be traded.

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation

I see ah coming to camp on time, being run ragged the first day, and then developing an injury that keeps him from practicing. He already has demonstrated considerable contempt for the new staff, and his statement was a laughable exercise at spin control when no one was in his corner publicly.

Definitely. Especially when he's not lining up with the starters right away. You just know the coaches are going to ride him like a dog too.
