Same school as Brian Mitchell and also a 5th round pick also like Mitchell. Let's hope he has the career Mitchell had.

I agree. This is a long time coming. I would have cut him last year. I do not have patience for players that play very little and yet can not stay healthy. Imagine if he actually was qualified to be a starter and got playing time.....the guy would crumble.
I really do not like taking WR's and RB's high (round 1 or 2) in the draft.
I have never agreed with it.

If he was going to be cut...great job getting a pick for him.
I have to plead ignorance on this guy -- did he play in the Buffalo game? I remember Shanny mentioning him the post-game presser saying he got nicked up. But that's honestly the first I've heard of the guy.

FB #36. He's a linebacker from Villanova.

Best photos I have of him: (figures I have a lot of good shots of Morris)

Re: Redskins Trade Dennis Morris to Rams

Sellers' backup could definitely play, unless Shanahan wants to go 3 TE or 2 HB formations.

Re: Redskins Trade Dennis Morris to Rams

This probably has more to do with special teams than anything.
Defensive End/OLB's tackle better than FB/TEs
Not to mention our depth is questionable at OLB and is fine at TE...and adequate at FB
