Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

On a real note, I as well always get nervous whenever we play in primetime. Occasionally we put up a good game (read: season opener last season), but more often than not everyone's lasting memory is us getting our ass kicked (read: 2nd Philly game last year), pardon my language.

I know this team has stayed grounded so far, and I know we should have plenty of motivation, but all the same primetime makes me uneasy. It's just something about it that makes me nervous. I feel like we save our worst for primetime. But hopefully I'm wrong, and this game is another step to our domination in the NFC Beast.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

Division games are tough no matter who's hurt and who's playing. The only position where I think you really have the edge is QB. If you're facing the Giants 2nd string vs. Eli, that's a legit real edge. Osi vs. Pierre, not so much.

I expect Romo to get bandaged up and play his guts out. Would be nice for Dirty30 to lay some wood on him.

Ok so lets look at their key injuries...

Miles Austin - Dallas Cowboys - 2011 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com
Quote:
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Cowboys fear Miles Austin may be out until their Week 5 bye after re-pulling his hamstring in Sunday's win over San Francisco.
Felix Jones - Dallas Cowboys - 2011 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com
Quote:
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Felix Jones separated his right shoulder in Sunday's win over the 49ers.A shoulder separation certainly sounds bad, but Jones was able to play through it sparingly Sunday. He finished with 10 touches. The Cowboys' medical staff wrapped up the shoulder and allowed Jones to reenter.
and last but not least Romo's ribs.

Felix might not be 100% which will help, Romo if they decide to play him all wrapped up will not be 100%, and the cowboys thinking is to replace Austin with Dez Bryant. I don't know why I thought Bryant has been injured.

Extremely interested to see how well we play on the road. Our offense has efficiently been able to move the ball in between the RZs all year, but as we saw yesterday, we still have problems scoring TDs. As well as we have played, we have also played all these games at home. I just want to see how this team handles the pressure of a MNF away game against a NFC East opponent. Should be interesting. If we can get another W, I will be elated.

At this point, we can only stop ourselves. If the O-line can like they played against the Cards (at least 90%), we're a threat to score everytie our O takes the field.

Only concern I have is our CB depth. Would've liked to see us pick up K. Hayden, who had a nice pick against the Eagles last night. If Wilson can't play against Dallas, I'm don't like putting Thompson or Westbrook on the field to be the #3 CB.

It's simple. God could have helped air show victims. God could have been in church, since it was a Sunday. But instead God chose to help the Cowboys because God hates the 49ers.

Of course, last week God liked the Jets and hated the Cowboys. God is fickle and indecisive that way.

After a come from behind win of the Cardinals, our fans started chanting we want dallas. Dallas barely got by San Fran today. Romo broke a rib.

A 40 yr. old chant gains momentum after two straight wins at home. Whatever bad happens for the Boys is not good enough. I don't feel for their injuries and I'm equally sure they don't feel for ours.

This reminds me of when Red Sox fans would start the Yankees Sucks chants at odd times, like during the patriots victory parade or while they were playing Baltimore or something. It's a good thing to have a rival, but sometimes it gets ridiculous. I hate Dallas but its not like we have been battling them for the NFC East crown much in the last ten years.

That's because most Patriots fans care more about baseball.

OMG, after he was the goat last week they are treating Romo's game yesterday like hes was freaking Willis Reed!! If the kicker would have shanked that kick like he did the 22 yarder ealrier in the game, i bet those Front Runners would have been singing a different tune!!!
