Re: Around the NFL week 9

lol.. Let me just pile on by pointing out that the Rex Grossman-led Redskins scored 28 points on this Giants defense that is humiliating the Patriots right now... lol

I know, I know... but it's still fun to point out.

Andy Dalton is definitely looking good, and how about that catch AJ Green had where the two Titan defenders ran into each other. They are set up for years with that tandem.

Re: Around the NFL week 9

Dalton could be 6-2 after today...

Has 12 TDs to 7 Ints on the season throwing to the likes of a rookie (Green), Jerome Simpson, Andre Caldwell, and Donald Lee.

Again... beating dead horse... but to say our problems don't boil down to ONE ... THE QB ... is crazy.

Yes, we aren't great in the receivers area on offense but neither are the Bengals, Bills, etc... IT'S THE QB Shanahans!

Like I said before the draft, we should have drafted him. I thought he would be second coming of Slinging Sammy Baugh (well at least the same school). Now I say we find a way to draft Barkley since Luck will be gone.

As much as I like Jenkins, I would have happily forgone drafting him to take Dalton.

They could of kept trading down and bypassed Kerrigan and drafted Dalton and Jenkins. I must say, I do really like Kerrigan.

I think we needed Kerrigan and it was a good pick up. I dunno, maybe we trade our 2nd and a 4th or something to move up to get Dalton.

Re: Around the NFL week 9

well, since we're all feeling great today. Let me just add to it by reminding everyone that Jay Gruden is the new OC for the Bengals. And he likely would have been the OC here if Jon Gruden was our HC. (More nepotism!). That said...Jon Gruden was never a totally serious candidate for HC here.
