I just see the WR in our division alone, Nicks, Bryant, Austin, Jackson, Maclin and even with 5 Pro Bowlers on the OL, our WR don't have the same level of talent, explosiveness and playmaking ability as any of them and that's just a 3 team comparison. If I expanded it across the NFL, I don't think that on ability alone, any of our WR would be in the top 50 at that position.

WRs are only as good as the QB throwing them the ball. Are any of the Colts Wrs doing anything this year? Didn't think so.

Good point but again the talent and ability need to be there as well. I don't think we're scaring anyone with Stallworth, Anderson, Armstrong and Gaffney.

I think our QB play and running game isn't scaring anyone. If we had a QB that had better accuracy with the deep passes and in the red zone, our WRs/TEs would be having great years and we'd have a much better record.

Right now we have no running game and a mediocre QB behind center. No WR is going to be successful under those circumstances.

Agree with that point as well. I guess I'm saying that even with the best circumstances, we don't have anyone of note at the WR position and to get to the contender level, we need at least one of those type players. Simply adding one of those players won't make a difference, it starts with QB, OL/running game is a key but that's not a 'weak link' position on an elite offense.

True. However, Hankerson showed some flashes of development, and I believe he will improve on that next season. I think a veteran wideout in FA is not out of the question, but as with our defense, I feel that the WR position is hard to judge given the shaky QB play and lack of running game.

In previous years our WR was terrible and it showed during games when you saw players dropping balls, not making easy catches, and not being able to get separation. I don't think we've seen much of that this season.

Great news!

Nope not really. Just problems in pass pro, the running game, and the QB. So those are our areas of need. OL and QB. and more OL

Re: Trent Williams Injury Update

If Trent cant go who will play LT vs the Seahawks? Our O-line has so many injuries thats why our running game has suffered. We need to draft o-line 2012 draft .
We need QB 1st Oline 2nd and best players after that.

Thank goodness. A blown knee this late in the season would be a disaster for the next. Its been tough to evaluate him this season because we havn't had anyone worth a dang next to him.

Re: Trent Williams Injury Update

Guy is becoming the later version of Tre Johnson and this is only his "sophmore" year with us. This guy is a great lineman, but this crap is due to having an inferior O line overall. Gotta give the guy some help. I am not sold on Jamaal Brown, and we need to draft at least one top G with our second or third round draft choice. If the Wisconsin C is a senior pick him up. I love those big hogs from down on the farm!!!!!!

Locklear probably. Polumbus is currently standing in at LG, even though he's capable of playing tackle as well. Unless they move Polumbus to LT and let Locklear play guard. We also have a rookie Willie Smith on the roster who's a tackle as well.

I have no idea. However it works out, it's sure to be a mess.

Is it custom to have your top Ts on the fieldgoal unit?
