I hope like hell that was some sort of wacky Jim Zorn play call because that guy should have been benched the rest of the season.

Re: And in the 2nd round, the Redskins select.....
I can't even bring myself to pick a player. If we are holding our 2nd round pick then it means we struck out on Luck, RG3 & Bradford and probably Tannehill. I am going to need to be sedated during this draft...

Re: And in the 2nd round, the Redskins select.....
I have been saying we could get Kurt Cousins in the 2nd. He has a great arm, bright kid, maybe some accuracy issue but I think its more learning his arm can't always get balls into tight coverages.
1st round get best player on the board. I would love to get Blackmon from Oak St, but not sure he'll be there. Alshot would be great as well, but not at 6, unless we move back and get a lower 1st and can sneak him in somewhere. obviously if we move back, gains us another pick or two which we can get some Oline help. Ultimitely, I see us making a play to move up to get Luck or RGIII. Hesitant to get Bradford. Has some injury concerns, plus behind our Oline he is going to get hit. RGIII is the best option for us in my opinion. |

Re: And in the 2nd round, the Redskins select.....
When you're a 3-4 defense, you always have to look at pass rushers. So Nick Perry or Courtney Upshaw would be an ideal use of the second round pick (though Kendall Wright would be a no-brainer pick over either). Brandon Boykin would be a nice corner/safety hybrid.
I wouldn't rule out Orson Charles or Coby Fleener either. The Redskins don't need a tight end, but after the first round pick, they should be looking at all options to improve the offense between the numbers.
