Footballs different but I will say you can be a bit of prick at QB and still have your teammates love you.

So long as you don't get into Jay Cutler/Jeff George territory you're okay. And to be fair I haven't seen or heard of RG3 yelling at teammates though I think he told Trent Williams to shut up in a huddle during the offseason when Trent was joking around.

Aaron Rogers has a huge ego, he does a championship belt celebration after every touchdown.

Eli Manning called himself elite before he won another superbowl.

Tom Brady talks trash during games and laughed when someone said they wouldn't score 17 points before the superbowl against the Giants. I forgot the exact number of points and who said it.

Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Joe Namath... quarterbacks are arrogant. Rather have a quarterback that is arrogant than someone like Mark Sanchez.

All QBs that are arrogant have a reason to be. Sanchez is surrounded by a terrible coach and a terrible team.

Any attempt of Sanchez trying to be arrogant would be like the wimpiest kid on the playground declaring himself King of the monkey bars.

What I am saying is that all quarterbacks are arrogant, at least the good ones. You watch Sanchez play and speak he is not arrogant at all, in fact you can tell he lacks confidence.

I wouldn't be confident playing with the Jets either.

There's a difference between having an ego, which plenty of athletes do, and being a selfish unlikable brat like Cam Newton.

There's no real comparison there between RG3 and Cam. None.

Exactly. Even Cutler to an extent, but especially Cam. It is when you alienate your teammates that it becomes a problem.

We agree 1000% there... definitely.

Again, as I stated earlier, 98% of the time, the narcissism is good/great... but 2% of the time it can be a negative..

* When we are losing/not playing well
* When he is hurt and refuses to let anyone else play

I'm just saying that I feel like it is definitely something to have in the back of the mind and I think it will show negatively in the future at some point.

The thing that I heard that scared me was the attitude that he tells the coach what's going to happen (this thinking will only get worse as he becomes more of a veteran).

... it kinda ties into the fact that he calls his offensive coordinator "Kyle." I just haven't liked that... calling a coach by their first name... but that's just a me thing I guess since it's 2013.

And I'm telling anyone with a pulse that RGIII will win three super bowls for us.
I'm calling four appearances and three wins.
Get ready for the long haul cause we're riding down the rails on the crazy train.
Congrats on a great season to our 2013 Washington Redskins!!!

(Did I mention we swept Dallas?)
Alvin Walton with my favorite post of the year (aka the week) so far. This sums up how I feel about this team right now. Going deep into the playoffs would've been nice, but my season expectations were 8-8, with the offense carrying us and the defense letting us down. So I'm definitely happy with where we are and what we accomplished this season. I don't think I'll be able to say I saw my favorite team go from 3-6 to 10-6 in the span of a couple months, probably again in my lifetime. Tonight was disappointing, and my everlasting hate for Seattle continues, but it can't damper the fact that even being in this moment was more than I expected. I don't expect big changes this offseason, besides some secondary help, and maybe a tweak here and there, but I do hope all that we've accomplished this year sets us up for bigger things next year.

I have one request for this off-season, can we have a mod whose only job is to fix thread titles? The OC in me is going a bit I insane about this title.

re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...

I believe he should have come out at least after the first series in the 2nd quarter. It was obvious to anyone watching the game that he was hurt and not effective. He couldn't run and he couldn't plant his leg to throw. The Seahawks definetly knew it, and it worked against the rest of our offense. RGIII didn't want to come out, but that's not his decision. The coach has to make that decision, and it cost the Redskins a chance and possibly a worse injury. Cousins proved he is a capable QB and would have given us a better chance. He couldn't have done any worse as it turns out.

That being said, I couldn't be prouder to be a Redskin fan and the season we had. We accomplished more this year than any of us could have dreamed. I hope his injury is not worst case and he takes the off season to heal and come back next year ready to dominate. HTTR
