Arena's is probably the one place in Rehoboth i've never been...go by it all the time when i go to the mizzen mast to get my buffett t-shirts...just never wandered in. it was something different before arena's, but i can't place my finger on what it was called... 50 beers in 3 days...dude, you're not an alcoholic...alcoholics go to meetings...you a drunk just like the rest of us ![]() TMC, my fiancee decided to like LaVar before she liked football...what is it with girls liking players because of looks. then that damn show came out (while you were out on discovery), she saw it and said, he's my favorite player. damn women! so i got her the jersey...she was extremely pissed at him this year because he was hurt...

Re: What's Your Drink?
It's been Arena's for nearly 14 years - htey just keep adding to it and expanding. It used to be half the size on the inside, with no deck.
They also used to have full bands in there back then. Love Seed played there and took up a third of the building just setting up.

Re: What's Your Drink?
eh, maybe i'm thinking of something else...i could have sworn it was though...oh well...all that beer is killing my brain cells
my family basically lives down there each weekend during the summer (May to September), and since my mom isn't too fond of delis, we never head over there. maybe one weekend, i'll grab my dad and we'll go.i was too young to drink at the country squire, but i do remember those tasty breakfasts there...now, we either wait in line at the royal treat, or make it ourselves...

Re: What's Your Drink?
I drank at the Squire maybe twice in my life. It was the place to go if you drank all might and wanted to keep going at 9 am.
I basically live down here from May to May. Jealous?

Re: What's Your Drink?
TMC...you could always call one of the local distributors and see if they send it anywhere...

Re: What's Your Drink?
jealous during the off-season...hell yes. it's so nice to be able to walk the boards in october and not have to deal with all those frickin' people
jealous during the season...a little. gorgeous weather, but the touristy type people (i don't really consider myself a tourist anymore...20 year summer veteran) can be quite annoying, especially when they hog up the shoreline, and you can't help put step over people getting to the ocean

Yeah, it's funny how many female Tom Brady fans are out there.

Re: What's Your Drink?
BDBonzie, I've never bought beer straight from the distributor. So I just call them and ask where they send the Bud Dry to?

Re: What's Your Drink?
yeah, give them a ring and see if they distribute bud dry to any local places...we used to call the distributor in salisbury all the time, to see what kegs they were sending where (especially the rarer stuff), so we pounce on it first.
Brud - i definitely understand that. if it gets to be too much, i head over to my buddy's family's house (if he's down of course), and set out on the bay, or go crabbing.

Re: What's Your Drink?
Thanks for the advice. I've been to bars up and down the western part of Virginia and can't find it in most places. Hopefully they send it SOMEWHERE close by.

Re: What's Your Drink?
Jager...shots of Jager are easy to drink and it sneaks up on you. I don't mind shooting Tequila either.
Otherwise, I pretty much drink beer. I'll have the occasional Bombay and Tonic |

Re: What's Your Drink?
Heineken & Amstel Light are my fav. winter beers & Corona and Dos Equis Amber are the better summer beers. I enjoy wild turkey & ginger ale and margaritas anytime, but my favorite drink is situational... The first day of the year that I get hot working in the yard i like to go out and get a sixer of Pete's Strawberry Blonde. That is a refreshing beer.
