Are deals with Spencer and Clark still a possibility? Heard any thing other than a couple of things tweeted out.

Spencer is another key and someone who would be awesome to pair with Kerrigan. Rak and Hatcher on the right and Kerrigan and Spencer on the left would be a nice rush package.

I highly doubt Allen has a lot of guaranteed money tied up in Hatcher. This is a two year rental to help get an interior pass rush we've been severely lacking from our interior linemen. He makes Kerrigan and Rak's job easier. Not sure why anyone is bitching here. Who gives a damn that he's 31. It looks like he's still got some gas in the tank.

Hatcher also does not have a lot of wear and tear bc it took him a while to get to the top of the depth chart in Dallas...food for thought

Bump, he doesn't have the miles that a normal 31 year old has.

Re: Redskins agree to deal with Jason Hatcher

I just remember last season against Hatcher he destroyed our o-line by himself. He will up grade our interior d-line pass rush and we weaken our opponents defense. I hope he plays better then Bowen played.

Re: Redskins agree to deal with Jason Hatcher

31 does not mean a player can not get the job done. As long as they take care of themselves and there's not a lot of guaranteed money then I'm fine with it. We're going to probably have a rotation at the d-line anyway.

Re: Redskins agree to deal with Jason Hatcher

My number one concern with this contract is that it goes year to year. I don't mind paying a lot for good older players -- in fact I wanted to go after Boldin before SF re-signed him -- but you don't want to get locked in with an older player. When it goes, it's gone.

I haven't seen any details on the contract. Could you expand on your year-to-year comment? I don't understand what you mean by that. Is there a team/player/mutual option or something? Thanks in advance.
