The league gets the results it wants. Sports is money and that is the end in itself. The whole thing is rigged somewhat to maximize rating, etc. Do you really think the kneeling stuff alone is responsible for the loss of TV ratings? More folks are waking up to the fact that it is almost a scam. The product if you want to call it that, quite frankly sucks.

Re: The after London semi-meltdown thread.

If you had told me that Cousins would throw for nearly 200 more net yards than Dalton, we'd win the turnover battle, we'd go 100 yards on the ground, we'd win time of possession, Cousins would get sacked only once, we'd have 3 receivers over 90 yards, we'd have only 1 turnover total (a bomb that is picked on third and very long -- basically, a punt to the Bengals 14 yard line), we'd have 3 sacks of our own, including a sack-fumble -- I'd say we'd score close to 40 points and run away with it.

Nope. Not this team. We mush have the lowest points to yards ratio in history. Our red zone offense is putrid. And coaching is a real part of that.

DARE TO BE GREAT, GENTLEMEN! Seriously, I beg you.

Re: The after London semi-meltdown thread.

We're on pace for a record that would normally qualify for the playoffs or would be really close and we made it last year. We're playoff caliber I'd say.

Re: The after London semi-meltdown thread.

Those calls onNorman were pretty much legit, but the one against Garcon must have been one of those phantom calls that kept the Skins from driving for the winning score. Most calls are legit, but too many are made out of the air and are momentum changers.

Very fitting ending, neither team deserved the W. Too many mistakes, missed opportunities, penalties, etc.

Sucks but it beats losing at least.

We have a tie and a bye. We're going 2 weeks without a win or a loss.

That stupid 1 is going to be on our record for the rest of the season. Its weird looking at the standings when teams have ties. 4 teams now have 1, 3 in the NFC.

It does still suck but at the end of the season it may help us in the WC race

My question is? Where has Cravens been the last 2 weeks? Are they being cautious after the concussion? Kid has to play.

Wouldn't help more than a win.

I just can't believe Hopkins choking and the call on Garcon. Going to have nightmares tonight.

We are 5-3 if our kicker could make a 34 yarder.

Yeah it does leave a bad taste but it's better than 4-4. If Philly losses tonight which I think they will, we are in 2nd place again. Just have to win the rest of our div games to really make a push at the div

In our division, by winning % we are in last place now.

I'm actually rooting for the Eagles tonight. Still going for 1st place.

We have same amount of wins as NYG and Phi and we beat both

I'm not worried because it can change in a week, but look at the standings. We're in last place right now. You have to actually be tied with someone to have the tie breaker.
