I feel bad for Oakland, talk about a magical season down the tubes.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
Today was the worst day of playoffs games in a long time that I can remember. Only caught part of the 1st half of the Raiders/Texans game. Didn't miss much the rest of the day.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
We so would have been Detroit yesterday , score be probably be worst. Instead we wake up today higher draft pick and an easier schedule next year. I will take that over a playoff beating.

Sorry ,no. Look I know there is a very real(most likely) chance that my team will get pounded today, can they win I think they can but they have not been very good offensively.I am still glade they are there and I will take that one game even if it's a loss.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
That is absolutely absurd. I would kill to be playing one more weekend, rout or not. I don't want a higher pick or an easier schedule, I want continued success more than anything

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
I wasn't glued to the Houston-Oakland game, but it seemed like every time I glanced over at the TV, a Texan CB was breaking up what would have been a third down completion. So THAT'S what it looks like. I had forgotten.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
The performance of the Detroit receivers against Seattle was putrid. I counted four different receivers who dropped passes in their hands that would have converted third down plays. Then one of them threw in two fifteen yard penalties against himself. This team does not deserve Matthew Stafford. They are wasting Stafford's talent by putting a poor group of receivers around him. They must fix this in the offseason.
Also, the Detroit team, as a whole, has poor discipline. They committed one costly penalty after another throughout the game. One clown even managed to get called for a block in the back while he was covering a kick. That was a first. This lack of discipline is why I don't like Jim Caldwell as a coach. His teams throw away games because of it.

I hate the Packers, but because we beat them this year, it makes pulling for them a bit easier. And Mara can eat a Costco sized pallet of grundles. Go Pack!!

If I was the Miami defense coaching staff, I'd probably gameplane to cover Antonio Brown. Becuase linebacker in one on one coverage isn't gonna get it done

Re: Wild Card Weekend Games Thread
I took 2 naps yesterday. Great decision making. Naps are the most underrated thing in the world. I caught about a quarter of the 1st half of Raiders game. Watched zero of the Lions game. And I missed absolutely nothing.
And FSU basketball won again. Top 10 next week. Got Duke on Tuesday.
