I saw it first hand against Dallas, it was sad and embarrassing.

I kinda expect it when we play teams like the Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, or even the "bandwagon" Patriots at home.

But, when you have a team like the Vikings, and their fans are all throughout the stadium, then you have to wonder. I seriously doubt they have a large fan base.

Our defense was screwed when we lost Allen and Matt I. We have been dying for a big time DL to come in and he gets injured and done for the yr. Just another sign of this team being cursed, that shit just happens to us too often.

Re: Post game and what needs to be done going forward.

Norman gets a pass, he had a bad game against good WRs and is playing with broken ribs.
He can’t jam anyone at the line with bad ribs.

Zach Brown was hurt but played ok.

KC missed 3 throws. Those took points off the board but Doctson had a big slip and crowder had 3 drops on one drive.

My problem with the team is the front office and coaching staff.
Will Compton was a lability out there. As soon as Spaights went in we got a couple of stops. Get someone to replace him already.

Pryor Might as well be in the witness protection program. Why did it take so long to get Harris playing time?
Why didn’t they trade Pryor back to the browns when they called?

I don’t get the love affair with Kelley. Excluding the rams game, he hasn’t had more than 30 yards in a game this year. He doesn’t deserve carries. Find someone on the streets who wants to be a millionaire.

Special teams isn’t doing anything for us.
Are they not practicing onside kicks? Wtf is our ST coach doing?

Someone needs to address these issues mid season before the season is lost but they aren’t.

Get Robert Davis some playing time instead of Pryor.
I worry someone’s ego is preventing this.

Fuck this soft ass coach and front office.

No urgency.
Jay Grudens coaching style is soft and he is ok with mediocrity.

Fuck this stupid ass tablet keyboard.

I also forgot to mention, I'm tired of seeing no effort on blocking field goals. It's 100% on the coach that they don't even try to block it. Curious as to whether he thinks we don't have the personnel for it, but dare I say I miss the days of Danny Smith? We didn't do it often but we had a block here and there.

After we lose to the Saints we'll have to go undefeated our last 6 to make the playoffs. No playoffs for us.

Let the Cousins contract drama and mock drafting commence.

I haven't been on jays case all year but yesterday was a disaster, he was clearly over matched and was clueless on a few drives. That 3&1 and 4&1 to CT on both was Jim Zorn like. Jay just never seems to get over the hump either and this is year 4 now.

Re: Post game and what needs to be done going forward.

They sky isn't falling just yet, but it's hanging low. The Saints game is going to be a tough one. (Underestimating comment of the year!) I had figured we'd win one of these two games (Vikings, Saints) and go into the Thanksgiving game against the Giants at 5-5. But now, very likely heading into Thanksgiving at 4-6 the way the Saints are playing. Then again, none of us saw the Redskins beating the Seahawks in Seattle, with all of our guys hurt, so I'm sticking with the "Any Given Sunday" mantra.

Even if we're 4-6 after next weekend, we're staring down a very light schedule. The Cowboys will be without Elliot, and we saw what happens when they don't have Zeke in there. We have the Giants twice, the Broncos, the Cardinals, Chargers, and Falcons. Am I missing anybody? If any team that is 4-6 by the end of next week has a chance to end at 10-6, it's these Redskins. All, very winnable games. Sure, likely scenario is they go 8-8, which honestly, will probably wind up being a pretty good achievement considering the injuries to all of our key players and our brutal first half schedule.

Falcons aren’t in the schedule.

I see 2-5 being the worst record possible. We split with the Giants, and beat Denver.
I see 6-1 being the best. We lose next week than win out and squeak in to the wildcard spot. If we somehow win next week than the playoffs is a real possibility.

Jay is Norv 2.0. Great offensive coordinator, but a lax leader. Both headed teams that made just enough mistakes to beat themselves. Whether it's Gus Frerotte head-butting a wall and knocking himself out of the game, Michael Westbrook taking his helmet off and penalizing us out of winning FG range, or Josh Doctson inexplicably tripping on a "turf-monster" when he's wide open for a TD, I've seen this movie before. Not saying we should fire Jay, but his leadership (or lack thereof), and his team's inconsistencies reminds me of Norv's tenure as HC.

To those of you who disagreed with my Norv 2.0 analogy, if today's loss didn't remind you of a Norv-coached team beating itself, then nothing will.

Only thing I dont agree with in your original post is you saying we shouldn’t fire Jay. Id take Norv right now over this Arena league bitch.
