I agree, the Eagles are the team that needs the loses. And as much as I hate Dallas, it really isnt that hard to hate the Iggles and root against them.

I'm rootin for the Cowboys,(did I just type that?). Around here, all the Eagle's fans knees are getting wobbly because they are so worried about McNabb's injury. A good hit on McNabb and a Cowboys victory would bring on a week long smile for me.

Eagles must lose, early and often. I want the Eagles to lose every single week. I hate how there making a hero out of Donavan. Ya know if the Chiefs could of at least put a helmet on him he might not of wanted play so hard. Down with Donivan..... :FIREdevil

I say a Philly win but they lose Mcnabb for season. I saw people say Philly makes playoffs without Mcnabb maybe they do but it would be as wildcard and not Division champs if they lose him.

If McNabb goes down they're done.

I don't feel bad, lets have dallas win this one. It helps me redskins.

If we are going to win this division we don't need to worry about the cowgirls but if we are aiming wildcard then obviously eagles should winbut i think being early i would rather keep the teams below us until we start losing. If we were 1-2 i would be all for them egirls but we aren't

Exactly my point. Don't worry, Dallas will create losses this season, probably around eight or nine of them, but if they can hang a BIG 'L' on the Eagles, well that is just one step closer to no bye week for them.

From a Redskin fan's perspective, this only helps if the Redskins actually make the playoffs. We'd be getting ahead of ourselves if we thought about whether we met the Eagles after a bye or in the first round. Jeez people, it's week 5. We need to make the playoffs first and foremost. Dallas, NYG, Carolina, Atlanta, Seattle, Tampa, and STL are the teams we'll compete against for a wildcard spot. They're the ones that need to lose.

We're not taking the NFC East from the Eagles. It's just not going to happen, though I hope desperately that it does.

At 4-0 with a division win, you guys can now go .500 and wind up 10 - 6, and that might just include enough division wins to give you guys a bunch of tiebreakers.

Why are the Eagles a lock for the division?
This NFC East isn't going to lie down for them this year, so that means 6 games where they are going to have to fight for every inch of ground. Well Dallas might lie down but I hope they fight.
Their QB is getting beat up this year, and he hasn't faced a Serious Pass rush yet - After Hotlanta.
So really, It's wide open this year.

Re: Dallas or Philly?

I'm gonna' agree with that one. McNabb is only going to get worse and worse. I know he's playing hot right now, but it only takes one big hit on that sternum.

I strongly disagree. McNabb looked tons better physically against KC than he did against Oakland. Here in Philly, reports are saying that his sternum and groin are healing up nicely, it's just the hernia he has to worry about for the long haul. And lots of players have played through that. McNabb's tough and I don't see him going down.

But even if he does, don't you remember when Koy Detmer came in and lit it up a couple years ago in relief of McNabb? Of course he got hurt pretty quick and AJ Feely took over, but Koy has been in that system for ages, he can run it.

The Eagles do this every single year. They go like 2-2 in their first few games, Reid has lost 5 out of 7 games in week 1. But then they always, ALWAYS go on a friggin tear. I think anyone who thinks they won't do that is getting a little too caught up in the results from the first 4 weeks. And just like those who said TO and McNabb couldn't work on the field together after all the drama, those who say McNabb can't stay on the field all year long are being very shortsighted.

Re: Dallas or Philly?

I'd prefer to think that they are showing their mortality, Patriots-style.

Healing eh? Oh well. I never hope for injury, and I'm not going to. I'm just shocked I guess, that the presence of McNabb can make people like Lewis become all stars. I know TO makes most of the catches, but DAMN.

True the Eagles get on a run, but I think they are getting figured out by other teams. You can't stay on top forever and when the Eagles got beat by the Pats who really exposed their Pass first, second and third philosophy, other teams began to scheme the Eagles that way. After Dallas, they get a Bye then play SD and @Wash and @Denver. That could very concievable be a two or three loss span for them.
