Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
I'm just tired of losing games that we should without a doubt win.

That block in the back was iffy to me...the only other thing he could have done was to stop running forward...Suisham is the only GOAT in my opinion...can we say "Zendehas?" |

Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
we killed ourselves here. couldnt score after getting the ball on the kickoff, couldnt convert short yardage to save our lives, couldnt protect the quarterback, couldnt run the ball. seahawks front 7 dominated us and we got punished

Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
No way was this a without a doubt winnable game. Seattle is something like 35-4 at home over the last 5 seasons. Thats pretty good. The Skins needed to play a great game to win and the O line and WRs just were not up to the task.

Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
Hate the rule if you want but the kicking team can't advance the ball unless the receiving team controls it first. No Seahawk touched the ball. There were some minor iffy calls going both ways (the missed holding call on the Hawks first TD) but nothing game changing.

Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
Eh... that sucks. But I'll live. This year has been a real challenge, with all of the injuries and ST's death. I think that the team defnitely came together over the last year and I am definitely looking forward to next season. LL played inspired ball in the 4th quarter. TC is a thousand times better than any of us thought he was this time last year. Next up for Redskins fans- Obsessing about the draft!

Re: Official Wild Card Game Thread: Redskins vs. Seahawks
Tremendous season given the circumstances. I predicted 7-9 so I am thrilled.
However, I am very disappointed (and drunk) right now. Suisham's miss was a momentum killer and worthy of him getting cut. |

In the end, can't be too mad. They fought back, had a chance to go in and go up 8 points, couldn't finish, but fought hard until the end. The two ints returned for TDs were extremely unfortunate and really skewed the final score (obviously). Green Bay will finish off Seattle next week.
