Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
If they screw this up it's time to really consider supporting another team. My only hope is I can out live Synder so maybe I can see my beloved Redskins win a Championship.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Tiki Barber
“Jordan Rodgers is basically stating the obvious, but he said it in a way that actually makes a lot of sense,” Barber said Wednesday. “Kirk Cousins is actually the more viable option, because Kirk Cousins will sit in the pocket and find his guy and read a defense and know pre-snap where he’s going to go with the ball, and if something breaks down, then he finds his checkdown back. Those two guys who they had in Washington were fantastic in giving him support in that role, so yeah, of course you take Kirk Cousins over Cam Newton, even though Cam Newton was the MVP. With Cam Newton, you get an MVP season one year and then the next year you get what the hell we saw in 2016. And what do you want? I’m not sure I want that roller-coaster. I’ve seen that roller-coaster — not with one guy, but with multiple guys over the course of my career. … With Cam Newton, you’re getting year-to-year volatility. With Kirk Cousins, you haven’t had that. It’s been pretty consistent.”

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Trade Cousins and use the 49ers # 2 overall pick to draft Deshaun Watson and the best defensive player at # 17. We'd basically get a new QB with way more upside at a fraction of the cost, we could use that money to sign other free agents or roll over into the following years cap. I know people don't think as highly as Watson as I do, but I would be down w/ that.
And people have already hit on this, there is no way we're giving our # 17 overall pick as part of any Cousins trade. That would be full retard and you never go full retard.

I think his accuracy is ok, but he needs to cut down on the INTs. If we didn't pick a QB though, we couldn't go wrong with getting J. Allen from Alabama.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Can't believe I'm even asking this but would you rather have Cutler or Romo? Excuse me now while I go and vomit.

Cutler. I've hated Romo so much for so many years, I couldn't bring myself to like him ever.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Romo. We tried zero leadership with Jeff George.
Besides, I just think how hard I would laugh if Romo won SB w/ skins before Jerry did w/ Dak. Unlikley, I know but worth thinking about.....LOL |
