technically he is still with them. they signed him back. I saw it yesterday.

Re: Kobe a Wizard

the Celtics are making a push for Garnett. they desperately want to do something to revive the franchise. the first thing that they should do, is get rid of the dumb ass Danny Ainge

For as much as I want to agree with you, I do believe that Ainge has gotten the dead weight off the roster, and the cancers off the roster. He came into a situation that was about as much of a cap hell as you can get into.

Technically he doesn't have a no-trade clause. Only Kobe has that in the leauge. But KG can, and did, say that he will opt out of his contract once it expires at the end of next season and he won't re-sign with the Celtics. The Celtics could say "Well, we'll take our chances that he'll change his mind" or they can, and did, say "Well then that trade just won't work for us"

actually he does, because he has been in the league for over 8 years and 4 years with his own team. he doesn't have a no trade clasue but he can say no to where he wants to be traded under the rules of the collective bargaining agreement.

Re: Kobe a Wizard

Bryant is the only one in the league with a no trade clause? that is really surprising

Re: Kobe a Wizard

Forget the celtics bringing him here would be the best option for him to win. Our offensive style is similar to the suns and having him Arenas and butler with Kevin would be a hard combo to face in the east. Pick up Gerald Wallace in Free Agency or DJ Strawberry in the second round and you have one hell of a team.

PG=Gilbo
SG=Wallace
SF=Butler
PF=Garnett
C=Pech/ Thomas

They have to atleast try on that.

Re: Kobe a Wizard

Wallace is local too so that'd be a nice pickup (by the way, anyone notice that one of our newest membersis gerald wallace? not the same guy)

As for KG, we can't seriously expect to keep Arenas and Butler and trade for KG

Why not? I've looked at the trade scenarios and trading Jamison, Haywood, and Songaila for KG would work money wise and collective bargain agreement wise. Give Minnesota our 1st rounder this year and maybe next year. Hopefully the thought of being champs (hell with line up you could have a Dynasty) for a few years would ease the contracts for the mega stars.

Good points I keep forgetting about Songaila. But I would think Minnesota would ask for Arenas and/or Butler

KG already said that the only team he would want to play for is the Suns. And good afternoon SS and everyone else how are you all?

it's not that because in that option neither player has a choice. In this case Garnett can say where he wants to go just like Kobe. He can say I dont want to go to Boston (which he did) even if they agree to a deal (which they did)
