Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
I don't think that's how that was intended to come across. I read it as, "well, we better hope Torrance can play"

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
I really don't see Rodgers as a bust. He's hurt but he has been playing very well. He'll be back next year mid way and we will need him.

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
I guess we have to define 'bust' in order to properly label Rogers. To me a bust is a guy that can't play in this league at all.
Rogers is not in that category. The guy can play. Has he lived up to the expectations of a #9 overall selection? No. But he does have talent and he is still improving, maybe not as quickly as we'd like to see but he was quietly having a good year. |

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
yeah, rogers was having his best year in my opinion, his coveage skills have vastly improved from years past and he has always been a decent to good tackler . . . hope you have a healthy recovery 'los!

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
MCL and ACL? That knee will never be the same. Hopefully he recovers 100% and is able to have a serviceable career.
We could call up Eubanks or Westbrook, but is there anyone out on the waiver wire?

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
Bubba Tyer seems to think Rogers will be "ready to go" next year.
The severity of the damage will determine his recovery. If the ligaments were completely torn, he would be in trouble. Sounds like that's not the case though. |

Re: Carlos Rogers Done For The Year
Bad news. Good luck to Carlos.
One more thing: People, just stop with all the fucking Merriman talk. It gets old. How many times can you say, "I told you so." Does it really make you feel that much better? So what? You might have made one good prediction. Whoopie! Get over yourselves already.
