Great play to Betts, btw. Great call, great execution. How many games this year have we settled for the FG there and lost? Hurts just to think about.

If Todd Collins leads us to a win over the Giants, I'll donate money to this site. How much are paid memberships, btw? That's what bets on this site should be about - not about week long bans and self imposed exiles, but losers ought to pay money to the site - at least it benefits the site.

The Bears' defense reminds me of our defense last year...it was throughly exploited by Redskins. Props to Todd for stepping it up and the o-line for giving him protection.

Where did Collins come from? He looked like he was making a statement last night for us not to count him out. It's great to get the backups in, but I still want Jason back quickly. I also agree that this is the Al offense that we should see once everyone gets up to speed. I can't wait.

There is definitely a huge drop off in how much zip he puts on his passes compared to Campbell. He's a reliable back up and if there's any hope of making the playoffs, he's going to have to come through for us...

Sometimes it's good to not have so much zip. At least Collins doesn't have to worry about the ball sailing high, which happens to Campbell a lot.

The thing is JC is a better over all athlete, But man TC knows this offense like no other I'm hope TC will Finnish out the year as the starter so JC can see how to really run this thing.

Let me add a little of the English language to this thread...

Collins did so well because he had ALL day to throw. His line and Portis did an incredible job of protecting him. Too bad they didn't do that for Campbell though.

When he entered the game, I was scared and actually wishing Brunell was in the game instead, but Todd did well. He surprised me. Hopefully this was not a one-time deal, because with some luck we CAN still make the playoffs.

If we can win out, we are virtually guarenteed a playoff spot.

The interesting thing comes when you start asking "what happens when we go 2-1 to finish". We'd need a little help then, from New Orleans (over Arizona) and Denver (over Minnesota), but two and one still should get us in, provided that the one loss isn't against Minnesota.

If we lose to Minnesota, we have a better chance to catch the Giants than we do to catch the Vikings. Those games are going to be pretty critical, and we can't go unless we win at least one, hopefully two.

I hate to spoil everyone's happy mood today, but we ARE NOT going to win out. At NY and at Minn and then Dallas?? Not gonna happen.
