That board is really messed up. The guy who is the worst is a moderator!

I think their fans come in number 2 behind Eagles fans. I can't read anymore of that message board for the fact that it's terribly upsetting.

I tried to get through it, but got bored after a few pages. It's just one d-bag yelling "f- Taylor and look at me!!" I'm sure he's just a lonely little boy looking for attention, but it's amazing someone like that doesn't get banned. I'd hope that if someone on this site were spouting crap like that about a player from another team that was arbitrarily murdered while defending his family they'd get the boot.

F this guy for trying to make it seem like the Skins are exploiting this situation in any sort of way. The entire organization has handled this brilliantly, from Snyder flying the entire damn franchise down for the funeral, to Snyder setting up a trust for his daughter, and to the way the team has played their hearts out in his honor.

Seriously, just F this guy.

100% true matty ..i mean it aint worth the time or day if you ask me..
i will let the redskins actions on the field take care of itself......
all guys like this want is for you all to give him replies or hits on his site or whatever so i would just say if thats what you think but i myself really don,t care for people like this. he knows better.

efforts on the field and off it speak for sean and the team....

all i would say to this guys is whatever..

The writer has doen nothing wrong. Writing to his supervisor does nothing. He has expressed an opinion that we feel strongly against -- as does most of the country. He did this to provoke a response. But freedom of press allows him to say what he wants to.

With that said. Here is my response.

Mr. McGrath-

I think that the only person guilty of exploiting Sean Taylor's death at this point is you. The Washington Redskins have suffered a devastating loss that, although felt deeply amongst the entire Redskin community, only his teammates can truly feel as they face his empty locker on a daily basis. The Washington Redskins are honoring Taylor by placing him on the depth chart, there is no trickery here. They are mourning Taylor the only way they know how -- playing their hearts out for him. Was Taylor's father exploiting him when he asked the team to make it to the playoffs for Sean? Have Portis' end zone wings for Taylor been just a ploy for attention? I think everyone knows the answer to both of these is no.

Your article disgusts me. You wish to kick dirt in the face of players and coaching staff playing for something bigger then this game. You were correct about one thing. Sean Taylor was not lucky or charmed. He was one incredible football talent that was taken from us too soon. I will shed a tear as the redskins take the Quest field just as I have every game since Sean Taylor's passing.

Was he trying to be funny? Who knows. It just seemed like the comment came from way out of left field, and was sort of a stab at Bram's meaningful and accurate representation of how this team is feeling.
Everyone here at work was like "WTF did he just say?" It was terrible and insensitive and really some time should have been accomodated during the show for him to return and apologize. I don't know if he did because I had to leave, but my guess is he didn't.

I already have. I also email Dan Steinberg of the DC sports bog. I'm listening to sportstalk 980 and Chick Hernandez (Comcasts beat reporter for the Skins) has already heard about the article....he said the guy is an idiot.

I'm sure it will make it to the locker room sooner or later.

Angry Re: Redskins Exploiting Sean's Death?

This guy is a straight up piece of s**t, d-bag! I'm sure this article will be placed in every locker of the Redskins this weekend. If he thinks we didn't have motivation before, we will definitely have it now against Seattle. I doubt P.O.S. reporter would have the "Spaldings" to say what he said to Pedro Taylor about his son.

If he's sincere (which I think he is), then good for him. I think he was trying to be funny, and just really lost perspective. Way to take your 2min of fame and make yourself look like a jackass Farnsworth.

This is post-in-the-locker-room material. Someone should forward to Portis and tell him that Seattle fans are accusing the Redskins of exploiting ST's death. Let him share that with the team and then let's see if Hasselbeck and Alexander don't get the ever-loving shit stomped out of them tomorrow.

I cannot believe that an editor would let someone print that.

Too bad it wasn't a seahawks player that said it, then we would be seeing the team truly fired up.
