Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

I think your right SkinsnCanes.....RFK was used for baseball way back in like the what.......60's but when we lost the baseball team it was only football and occassional concerts I think. After we moved the owner had to find a way to make money so he let the soccer team use it.

If the Redskins come out and play with passion in honor of ST:

Skins - 24
Gnomes - 21

If the Skins come out and play like.. Well.. The Skins:

Skins - 17
Gnomes - 27

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

I don't think there can be an educated prediction for this game. The emotion factor makes it unpredictable IMHO: the guys may come out and play out of their minds and put fear in the hearts of the g-men. Our guys may also be simply overwhelmed w/ emotion and have an off game. Too hard to say, but I will say this, I don't think injuries will be a real factor.

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

NFC East games are usually close, and I expect this game to be. Giants have been on a roll this year due to their physical play all game. They are strong on offense as well as defense, but the Redskins match them very well. Most people think about the first time we played the Giants back in week 1. Teams change through the season. It is all about who has the strongest finish.

The Redskins are in a position in which they need to win or their season will can be in jeapordy. One loss can put them in the bottom of the pack in the wild card race. The Redskins can not afford to lose this Sunday against an NFC East team. This win will hurt the Cowboys even if they defeat Seattle tomorrow. We have not been too good at home. We have lost 2 big games in a row at home which pretty much shows that we are in the position to win a big one against the Giants.

This game will go down to who has the strongest push in the 4th qtr.

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

The Giants are an elite football team. They can pound teams into submission with their hydra-headed rushing attack and they can pass the ball well enough to make big plays when necessary. They can also stuff the run and rush the passer.

The Redskins offense is inconsistent. The rushing attack has been very good all season long, but the passing attack is erratic and has been less than impressive over the past 6 weeks. The Redskins defense, however, is excellent. The Redskins don't get many sacks, but who cares? They're a top 10 rushing and passing defense.

The Giants should win this one, but they don't. The memory of Sean Taylor drives Portis to rush for over 100 yards and the defense plays lights out. Oh, and to go even further out on a limb, Malcolm Kelly comes up big for the team.

Giants turn the ball over and stumble as Coughlin screams his guts out.

Home games hurt and as great as it would be to win, without marcus washington, our D has not been the same for part of the dallas and against seattle. unless our line prevents sacs which hasnt looked very likely lately, we cant beat these guys. Happy thanksgiving!

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

I would love to see us win this, but outside of a miracle of God I don't see it happening. the Gmen are playing well and we are pretty banged up.

I hope I am wrong but I see them handing us our hats

I hate the fact that if we lose this game, our home record will sit at 3-4. That's unacceptable.

Agreed.

Ever since they said they were inducting Taylor at this game, I've just had a good feeling about it. It just seems like everything is set up for us to pull the upset, and I have still had a great feeling about it all week.

I'll say this, there is really nothing to base this on. The Giants are a better football team than we are, they do almost everything better than we do, so if we lose, I wont be shocked or too dissapointed. I still think the Giants are the best team in the NFL, and I'm pretty sure they'll represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.....but I'm a big beliver in fate...I have a real good feeling about this, thats all I'm going to say: Skins 20 Giants 14.

The Redskins turned it around when Shawn was murdered & hopefully they can turn it around Sunday in memory of him. They need to play this Sunday like he did on every play.

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

Marcus Washington not playing and perhaps London Fletcher not playing will cause major holes in our defense. The skins are too banged up and they are playing the best team in the NFL.
